You could try a take on chicken tortilla soup that I do sometimes when I'm out of chicken. 1 can northern beans (drained & rinsed) 1 can black beans (drained & rinsed) Chicken or Vegetable Broth (low sodium) 1 jar chunky salsa 1 can of Red Gold Chipotle seasoned chopped tomatoes Cilantro to taste Combine all ingredients…

You could just put the vegetables you do like in the crockpot with it. For instance, maybe try celery, carrots, parsnips, potatoes, mushrooms or you could even do citrus fruits or apples. Just be creative and use what you like. You can't go wrong with a crockpot usually!

I usually just cut them up and put a little low fat butter, cinnamon and a dab of brown sugar on them. Then, cook them in the microwave for about 5-8 minutes. I like mine tender, but not mushy. Enjoy :) It makes a great side dish or desert for over low cal biscuits.

I would definitely drink lots of water and maybe even try to get some SOBE, Gatorade, Powerade w/ Electrolytes. Stay hydrated and the idea of a liquid diet might not be a bad idea. The BRAT diet always works too and the fiber will definitely help you feel more full and satisfied. I would also keep the meds in your body…

Great alternative to the high sodium/high fat version I've definitely had my fair share of in the past! Thanks for sharing

Try making your own lunchables....for example, pre-cut lean & low sodium meat, cheese and get some low fat wheat crackers and pre-package them yourself. Then, you can grab them on the go w/ some veggies or fruit. You'll be surprised how filling they are when you make them yourself w/ leaner ingredients.

I have 3 crockpots! I would stick to the Crockpot brand and definitely buy one with a removable crock for easy cleanup. I wouldn't get anything less than a 5 or 6 quart one and the programmable ones are nice to have too. Around the holidays there are usually some pretty good deals out there on them.

I wasn't able to go to the grocery like I had planned, but am working on a list today and hope to go tonight. I never have a lot of terribly bad things stocked in my house which helps a lot! I miss my workouts terribly. I have been working a full time temp job for the last couple of weeks and haven't fit one in. You're…

It's inevitable to at least gain water weight for most everyone, so I wouldn't even think about it. Skip your weekly weigh-in and just want until the next weigh-in to check-in on here. If you want to try to lessen the effects of water retention you can always drink more water (you can try some hot lemon water) and exercise…
