Those studies just annoy me... I'm sick of people telling me I'll never make it. It's my life and my choices and I'll make it if I want to. I don't know what those studies are trying to prove anyway? Do they want to make people so hopeless that they'll just continue to over-consume food that they don't need?

I would say if it's just plain coffee on ice with a cream and 2 spenda, then just count it like a hot coffee with the same.

So don't do that. I don't mean to be blunt, but it really is that simple. You have to be disciplined. If you are getting hungrier, look through your food lots and make sure you're getting enough fiber and protein. And try not to be consistently too far under your calorie allowance.

I'm on the pill right now and I retain water like crazy until my placebo week where I pee about 3-4 lbs of water during the week. It's pretty consistent so I don't think it's messing up my weight tracking over time the trend is still downward.

It depends on how you log it. If you weigh raw then log it as raw chicken breast, if you weigh it cooked, find an entry that says 'cooked'.

In late 2013 I started to get mobility issues with one of my knees, and this prompted me to make the decision to lose this weight. I was super-obese and now I'm just regular obese. I still have far to go but I no longer have pains in my knees.

Are you using MFP to calculate a suitable caloric intake for the day and following it? That might mean putting an extra snack in here and there if your meals are very small.

I know, right? If I want to let my kid smoke, that should be my decision as a parent, not the government's! Soda has no redeeming qualities at all except it tastes good. Same as ciggarettes, nothing good, only bad comes out of smoking. If we restrict smoking, why is it such a leap to restrict soda? Explain the difference.

How long have you been keeping to 1200 calories? Are you logging absolutely everything? You must be patient, to shift 2 stone will probably take you several months, depending your activity level.
