Weighing out food

i need 4 oz of chicken breast......do I weigh before cooked or after cooked?

It's a personal preference. I weigh mine after I've cooked it. When I am using recipes, I tend to log it as raw because I can't very well separate the stuff after it's all mixed together. But if I'm just baking some chicken up, I weigh it after it's cooked.
I tend to bake a crapload of chicken at one time and freeze it, to be used as needed, so it would be very difficult, indeed, to weigh it raw.0 -
It depends on how you log it. If you weigh raw then log it as raw chicken breast, if you weigh it cooked, find an entry that says 'cooked'.0
