we also do tuna wraps with mustard instead of mayo - they last much better on long hikes (due to not having to stay cold like mayo)

Google "omelette in a bag" - they are awesome.

I was SO not a morning person either - the thought of getting up early actually made me angry! But when we got a dog and I all of a sudden had to think about him rather than myself, I smartened up and just started doing it. We now walk or run 45mins every morning and it really helps me stay energized and make good choices…

As a pescaterian low-carber, I find it's tough to come up with new and exciting ways to prepare veggies and fish/seafood; however, Paleo Grubs has a great website and some amazing meal ideas  One thing that worked well for me was reducing my fruit intake - almond milk in smoothies VS oj, snap peas for a snack…

2 - breakfast and dinner. I'm doing 14/10 intermittant fasting and I now work out while fasted. Works for me!

Try pinapples, watermelon, celery and cucumbers - fruits and veggies that are loaded with water and help flush out any excess sodium. As previously mentioned, avoid cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage) a few days beforehand. i know they make natural/herbal diuretics, but i'm not sure you want to start…

LOVE this idea! Give yourself a tangible reminder of what it's like to be that much lighter! I also like the idea of a goal outfit - I know it doesn't work for everyone, but a new dress or new jeans hanging in my closet is all the motivation I need. Good luck

Plain steel-cut oats VS Quaker Instant Flavoured oatmeal. WAY too sugary and artificial-tasting to me now!

:drinker: LOL...yeeeaaah not gonna happen for this wine-o :drinker:

Raw veggies - 2 cups of vegetables is 56 calories (according to MFP  )

Top them with roma tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, slices of fresh mozerella and broil until the cheese is starting to brown.

Talapia is delicious, inexpensive and easy to cook. I would recommend using Panko Bread crumbs instead of French's Onions for breading tho. French's has 31 grams of fat per serving vs 3 grams of fat for Panko. French's also has 60mgs of sodium vs 0mgs for Panko. Good luck!

Do you have a heartrate monitor or are you just going by how you felt? I'm logging mine as Calisthenics and it says 266 cals for 30 mins

Day 2 of Level 2 was worse than Day 1...prolly cuz I knew what was coming :grumble: She definitely whooped my butt, so if you're looking to sweat keep with it!

I'm horrid at the pushups, definitely on my knees the whole time. And the lateral raises with the side lunge? FORGET IT! Drenched in sweat tho and feeling it this morning. Super excited to press play again tonight :) Is anyone else insanely jealous about Anita's abs?? :grumble:

You know it! Got a brand new parka for the occasion. I'm so excited to see Jimmy, Sally and Suzie from Canada...it's been too long :drinker:

I'm keeping up with my regular routine (Spin class, jogging, CX class) and ADDING the 30DS into the mix every day. I read A LOT of other comments on here saying if you're used to working out regularly, you wont' see the same results as someone that has never done a lunge in their life. not sure if this will help you, but…

I feel your pain! My boyfriend's kids eat sugar like it's going going out of style. It's so hard watching them eat cookies and ice cream and candy while i'm munching on air popped popcorn and soda water. *sigh*

I log mine as Calisthenics (pushups, sit-ups), vigorous effort for 30 mins. It may not be 100% accurate but i know there are a ton of other threads on here that give you the calculation to figure out EXACTLY how many calories you burn doing 30DS. I just can't be bothered TBH.

So happy I saw this. I have started the 30DS a few times now but never committed fully to it, just used it to supplement my other exercise when I couldn't get to the gym. Let's do this everyone!!!
