  • I dont have personal experience with it because i dont like spending money on shakes etc when i can do it myself without spending money.   • Yes i have had it from a fellow co worker asking me what drugs i was taking. I have also had another saying "oh you dont look like you have lost that, youve quite a bit to go". I get upset about these and other comments i have had but it makes me all the more determined to succeed in what i want regarding my weight.

  • I have set a goal like you have mentioned above which has been very achievable, i dont plan on stopping when i get to that 'date' but it is giving me something to work towards, a reason to keep motivated. Whats the harm in it?

  • Dont think of the 98lb figure. I have about the same as you to lose and the way i have done it is small goals, i am at 46lb loss now and my next goal is 9lbs away. Also dont get annoyed if you dont see a loss one week. As long as your eating at a deficit you will lose. Keep going it will be worth it in the end.

  • The only person that knows im trying to lose weight is my partner. Mostly the reason I haven't said to anyone is because I am ashamed that I have put this weight back on (I lost a lot of weight before I had my daughter).
  • You have not put on 4lbs of fat in 2 days so its most likely water retention. Have you been drinking the same amount of water? Also your weight fluctuates. You will likely lose it all next week. Dont be discouraged.
  • I personally don't recommend atkins bars etc as they stalled my weight loss. What are you eating in a day? Remember you should be adding oil, cheese etc to your diet to up your calories.
