My splurge will be less the candy and more the mounds of food (and maybe a slice of angel food cake). I don't plan on eating until I can't move like I have in years and holidays past. I think for the most part that's my plan.

^this You can base your macros on what your goals are (are you cutting fat or carbs? Are you going for muscle building?) I'm currently aiming for 40/30/30 (carbs/protein/fat) but there are many variations you can choose and adjust your goal settings based on what you want.

Just limit yourself. There's nothing wrong with having a slice or two if you can budget it in.

Wait is there something I don't already have in it? Oh! An armored truck! (would have worked better when I used to live next door to the FBI)

New Mexico!

I'm nowhere near those weights yet but I'm working on it. I know there are several other women lifting heavy around here who have inspired me to join the ranks.

The best way is going to be looking like you know what you're doing. I started that program last week but I have weights at home so I haven't needed to worry about it. Put your headphones in and don't look at them if it helps. Or you could do the exact opposite and bat your eyelashes and say "Hey, I can't figure this…

The question is: can you quote the Sith code?

Beef jerky is jam packed with protein. I prefer jack link's because it has a better flavor and texture than the other brands I've tried, or you could make it yourself if you invest in a dehydrator. Yogurt is another good one as long as you have somewhere to keep it cold (a lunch box with an ice pack). plain yogurt also…

Drink extra water is my number one theme, although I've been trying to do that more throughout the month as well. Otherwise it just depends on how bad my symptoms are. If they're not bothering me, I still exercise as usual. I usually don't weigh myself but if I do I don't let the number bother me, after all it's still…

Oil isn't going to kill you. Your body actually needs oils to help regulate your emotions. Just go by the number of calories listed on the can.

I go through so much milk sometimes it's shocking the cows haven't run out. It's great for you as a source not only of calcium but of the types of proteins your body can most easily use. It's also the only liquid that your body reacts to as if it were food (which makes sense because as an infant it was your only food…

I went through my bags of clothes that I had gotten too large for and tried them all on. Now I have some nice jeans that fit better and shirts I wouldn't have dared to wear at the beginning of the year. And I'm trying to figure out how to set up a local clothing swap to get rid of the bigger stuff and maybe pick up a…

Different scales read differently. If you've been doing well watching your calories then it sounds like the difference is entirely in your scales and how they're sitting on the floor. When I was growing up I weighed 20 lb different on my grandma's scale than I did on my mom's--weighing on one then walking to the other side…

Wednesday is usually my lightest day because of my graveyard work schedule, although I'm wondering if that's going to change since tuesdays are going to be lifting days now.

Try picking up a set of resistance bands. They're fairly cheap and super versitile strength training.

Whey has the most accessable protein for your body to break down and use so I would suggest trying out a whey protein shake. For electrolytes I personally use pickle juice but a lot of people think it's nasty. It's almost no calories and is the best kept secret of several sports teams.

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/929824-its-been-over-a-year-since-my-hot-affair-began This was posted a few days ago. I found it totally inspiring, went and bought the book, and started on Saturday. Message me if you decide to go with the program. I'd love to have someone to track progress with!

^this and your body composition may also be changing, especially if you've been exercising.

1800 would be maintaining if you never crawled out of bed. Sounds like you were eating far too few calories before. Most people start losing weight when they bring their calories back up to a sensable number.

Cheerios! They're made from whole oats and have very few ingredients. They're amazing for you and they've become my favorite cereal. It's a great way to get your whole grains.

Thanks! Anyone who uses sports drinks with their workout, do you usually drink it before or after?

Your muscles actually look more cut when you're dehydrated. That's what they do for competition photoshoots. It's really not a healthy state to be in.

I can't exercise. I'm too busy screwing around on the forums

Maybe just to practice your height try box squats with a chair/box/endtable/trashcan equal height to the base of your knee. I came across these the other day searching youtube for a video on form

That's awesome! Go celebrate by buying yourself a new belt!
