I typical just eat half or a third, so I get 2 or 3 small meals. I find that if I eat slower and have a glass of water, that I am good with the smaller portion and still get my craving taken care of

RozayJones - From how it was explained to me it's very difficult to completely remove the Thyroid, which is why most people with Papillary cancer do a high dose of Radioactive Iodine shortly after their surgery. I had to go off my meds and do the Low Iodine Diet before the RAI. Then for the next 3 years I had Whole Body…

I had my Thyroid removed in 2005 for Papillary Cancer, and yes it is harder to lose weight. But you might ask your Doctor exactly what your blood levels are, not just normal. I say this because I feel better if my numbers are a little bit higher than what the Doctor likes, he likes me TSH at .02 and I like it closer to .75…

You should be proud of the change, it's on of the hardest for people dealing with weight loss to learn. Congrats.

I took Saturday and Sunday off from the 30ds, but did walk 10k each day. So on Monday I did day 6.

[/quote] I'm with you. We can do this!!!! 25 more days. What is your biggest challenge? After motivation, mine is the cardio sections...I feel like a wimp. I did day 3 this morning. I'm a little bit sore, but not to bad. Hopefully I will have better luck sticking with it this time around.

You correct and thanks for clarifying it. But as I said some of the information can be helpful and it's always great to have different resources to look at.

I had papillary cancer, so I know longer have a thyroid and I have gone thru the RAI Treatment. Everyone's thyroid's issues are a little bit different, this site has some helpful resources http://thyca.org/ it does deal with Thyroid Cancer but some of the information can be helpful to everyone with thyroid problems. Good running shoes that are a good fit, are totally worth the money. They can save you so much pain and frustration, compared to a pair of sneakers.

I would find a local running store and get fitted for a pair of shoes. It's well worth the time and doesn't cost anymore money.
