  • Unsweetened soy milk. I'm lactose intolerant and I don't need or want the extra sugar in vanilla or regular soy milk. Though I do keep a stash of chocolate soy milk for post workout. I'll eat any kind of ice cream you want to give me!

  • I've been a member of a CSA a few times and I've signed up for one this year. You will get a LOT of produce, and it won't always be cleaned and prepared like at the grocery store , i.e. root veggies may still have some dirt, carrots will have tops, etc. Set aside some time when you get home to do some basic processing and…

  • Okay, so I didn't quite meet last week's goal of 240, so I'll downgrade it to 180. :blushing: Week #2 -- May 7th -- Goal 180 minutes: Mon 5/7: 30 min weight training Tue 5/8: Wed 5/9 Thur 5/10: Fri 5/11: Sat 5/12: Sun 5/13: Total: 30 Goal: 180 Left: 150
  • My last weigh-in was 123.4 lbs, on May 5. I'd like to be at 115, but 120 may work too.
  • Hey ladies, I'd like to lose 2 lbs this month and be stronger. I'm also trying to make more food at home both for environmental and health reasons. 35 yo 5'2 CW: 123 lbs. May GW: 121 lbs Ultimate GW: 115 lbs Calories: 1620 Exercise 3-5 days per week
  • I've been trying to lose that last 10 lbs for a couple of years now! ;-) Actually, I lost about 20 lbs seven years ago, and I've been trying to resist putting the pounds back on. I maintained at 115 for a couple of years, but then the slide started. I remember being alarmed when I reached 117, lol. Now I'm at 124. So I…

  • Hi, I'm 5'2" and I'm at 124 lbs. Since I wear a small or x-small and I have a small frame, people don't understand why I'm trying to lose weight (I call it eating healthy when talking about it). But I'm about 10 lbs heavier than I was a few years ago when I liked how I looked in a swimsuit. So my official goal is 115, but…
  • I'm in! I have to get back on the exercise bandwagon after a vacation and general laziness. I'll aim for 240 minutes a week. Mon: 45 min (weight training) Tue: Wed: Thur: Fri: Sat: Sun: Total : 45 / 240
  • I'm 5'2" and I weight 123. I'm trying to get down to 115. I'm the same way you are...I can't do the super low cal diets I see some women talking about. I would go crazy on a 1200 calorie diet because I LOVE TO EAT and I have a big appetite. I do a little bit of everything, mostly running, ballet, strength training,…
  • Thanks for all of the tips. I guess it doesn't really take 10 minutes to measure recipes, but it feels that way when I just want to sit down and eat. I'll be trying your suggestions.
