I make my lunch in the morning before I leave. Usually it is a Turkey Sand on Wheat Bread with Reduced Fat Swiss and Lettuce/ Tomato. I have Baby Carrots, Apple Slices, and a greek yogurt with it. Breakfast is usually a Instant Oatmeal and/or Fresh Fruit. I keep snacks in my desk. Tuna Packets/Cans, Nutrigrain bars, Fiber…

Children are a part of society. Everyone complaining about children was a child at one time. People seem to forget this. No, I don't take my kids to fancy restaurants. Yes, I do take them to Chili's/Applebees, etc. They are family restaurants and cater to families, including those with children. My daughter is well…

Its all about moderation..... You can still have a cupcake. Just not 2-3, and not everyday. The whole point of tracking what you eat is so that you can re-learn how to eat and use moderation for things.

Congratulations. That is a huge accomplishment. Be very proud of yourself.

SW: 286 Goal/CW: 190

I agree with this. I adjusted my goal a few times as I got closer. Once you get down close to your "healthy BMI range" I would start looking more at composition instead of the scale.

I started at 286 last year. I weighed in at 191 this morning. Just keep up the routine. Its a lifestyle change, not a diet you will go off of. Everything in moderation. Find those healthy items you like and eat them a lot. It is all about finding a balance that works for you and being dedicated to doing it. Exercise at…

The show is entertaining. I enjoy watching it and it can also be motivating. I started watching it in Jan through Netflix and am up to season 9. I thought the show made it very clear that losing weight in this manner is only possible because they are at the ranch working out several hours a day with trainers, no kids, no…

The Jennie-O Turkey and Cheese Hot Dogs are very good. Even my daughter/wife love them. You can eat them without the bun. Fresh fruit is always an excellent side to take. Most people like Melons, berries, pineapple, etc. It disappears fast.

I camp frequently. Some of my staples: Hobo/Tinfoil Dinners (Lean mean, veggies, seasoning in foil- cooked in campfire About 45 mins usually). Marinated Chicken Breasts/Tenderloins- grill them and serve with salad/fruit. I stick them in ziplock with marinate before leaving. BBQ sauce is great. Teriyaki works, I have used…
