Medifast has tons of fiber on its own. I found that I haven't needed any fiber supplements. My coach said that you won't go as much because you are consuming less fat.

Awesome thread. We are all near the same height but really different in body frame. No one has ever seen me and been able to guess my weight. My goal weight is 175. The last time I was 175 I wore a size 8. I am a 12/14 right now and I weigh 202. Everyone is different.

Try increasing your water and lowering your sodium and carb intake. Both sodium and carbs can make you gain water weight if you have too much of them in your diet. When you lower your carbs try increasing your protein as that helps to fill you up.

I liked the old formula but not the new Shakeology formula so I stopped drinking it. When I was on Shakeology it helped my immune system and my allergies. It really had some awesome ingredients. It stalls mine. I only lose weight when I lower my carb intake period.

Mark Sisson the creator of the paleo diet has a scale of how to eat less carbs to lose weight on his website. I use that scale as a good way to count carbs. He says 150g and under is maintenance. 100g and under is weight loss. He breaks it down even further than that, but that is a good place to start.

Start by cutting your portions in half also try eliminating bread and pasta or at least reducing it to once in awhile. Your carb intake will drop tremendously just by doing that.

Too bad this place isn't all over Chicago. I live in Chicago too but nowhere near this market :( It is expensive elsewhere. I still eat healthy but it is not as cheap lol

Also try limiting your portion sizes try half a banana, half a slice of toast, etc. It makes a difference.

I eat less than 100g a day and I feel good. I am addicted to carbs as well and it makes a huge difference for me on the scale when I eat less of them.

I used the Biggest Loser food scale! It's amazing to see what ounces really look like ! Once you see that I guarantee you will save yourself some calories. Measure your condiments too! You will be glad you did. I got my food scale on sale at Target.

Before this plan, I worked out 4-5 times a week, sometimes 6 times for at least 30 minutes or more. Now I have decided to wait the 3 weeks until working out again. I am doing a couple of ab workouts twice a week, but that is all until my body adjusts to this calorie intake. I am not taking any chances.

The food is really high in fiber so that could be why.

I used to have this problem too and then one day I was watching a fitness dvd and they told us to push our chest towards the sky and that made me automatically tuck my chin under. Once I started doing that, the neck pain went away.

When I met with a nutritionist years ago, they said that 8 ounces a day would not cause you to gain weight, but more than that could be a problem. I have personally decided to stop the juice altogether, but it is up to you. I have done research recently that says that too much sugar can hamper your weight loss.

There are calculations you can do to subtract the fiber from your sugar consumption to get net carbs and you will probably see that you might actually be under your sugar intake. There are plenty of shakes out there that are really good. I have tried and liked Myoplex, GNC Total lean, Herbalife, Shakeology and those were the best to me.

Sometimes I have to adjust the timing to get all 6 meals in if I get busy at work or something, but I was told it is better to do that than to skip a meal.
