  • Could have been low blood sugar if you didn't eat much earlier in the day and then did vigorous activity. Body pump is pretty intense, maybe ease into it over a few weeks.
  • I highly doubt it has to do with the alcohol. You have just hit a plateau, it happens to everyone on the weight loss journey. Just stick with it and you will see the scale move. I stalled out for a month or more before, it is not at all uncommon.
  • I get these from time to time (oh they hurt so bad) and what I have found is when it is starting I had a tendency to want to stretch my leg out, pointing my toes down but this makes it so much worse. If you feel one starting put your toes straight up in the air and push through your heel, flex rather then stretch. For me…
  • I know that, calm down. I was just stating the idea behind why some people say there are zero calorie foods, hence my use of quotations around the word experts.
  • Some "experts" say there are zero calorie vegetables because the vegetables have less calories in them then the amount of calories your body expends to digest them. It is not that they truly have no calories. These vegetables are a great choice but they do still have carbs.
  • I am so sorry about your struggles. My hormones have been completely out of whack lately despite being on birth control which is supposed to help keep them in check. My emotions and body are a mess, it is such an awful feeling to not feel at all like yourself but be unable to do anything about it. Is a endometrial ablation…
  • I was on Yasmin for years and it was great for me other then the diuretic that is in it to help with bloating ended up causing me gallbladder issues (this is a rare side effect). If you are already on BC I doubt switching to another would cause you any weight gain. After I got off it I tried Orthotricyclin which was just…
  • When I do strength training I usually don't feel sore until the day after. Make sure your form is good of course, but I bet you will be feeling it soon enough! If you don't feel anything after a day or two you might want to consider upping the weight you are using.
  • You could add it as a custom activity, different people's *ahem* activity level vary greatly during the act so it would be hard to have one estimate. I am now imagining someone having sex with their chest strap and heart rate monitor on to find out exactly what they burned :o
  • Just keep doing what you are doing and you will see your face slim down eventually. For me I had to lose 20-25 lbs. before I could really see a difference in my face, but it seemed like it happened almost overnight, I saw a picture of myself and was shocked how thin my face looked. I lose easily from my legs and hips but…
  • I am an introvert too and I totally understand the horror of having to make small talk about your weight loss. When I had lost a bunch of weight before I just had a canned answer I would give, people would ask what I was doing and I would always say "I am just doing it the old fashioned way, counting calories and…

  • Start small with shorter workouts so you don't feel overwhelmed and find something you like to do. I used to hate exercise too, years of gym class in school traumatized me (I was awkward and bad at sports). I found I really like hiking outside, kickboxing and kettlebells. Find something you are not going to be bored doing…

  • The strength training is going to build muscle in your thighs. IMO muscular thighs are really attractive on women, but if you don't want them I would pass on leg strength portion of your routine.
  • Chin up now, you are not going to smell this way forever! If you just stopped taking the supplement two days ago it might be a few days until it is out of your system. If it doesn't clear up in a few days I would consider going to the doctor since it is clearly weighing very heavy on your mind. In the meantime some long,…
  • Make a plan, make a shopping list, write it down and execute. Do whatever you need to do to recommit yourself, you are the only one who can make yourself do it! Talk to yourself positively rather then dwelling on old habits. "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right" - Henry Ford.
  • I have fibro too so I understand but the Plantar Fasciitis makes it really tough. I would say shorter workouts are better so you don't over exert yourself, remember any workout is better then no workout, even if it is only 10 minutes. Also maybe Pilates would be good for you because there is a lot of floor work so you…
  • A several years ago I decided to treat myself at the fair after months of eating low cal. All I had were some tempura veggies, a brat and a funnel cake but good lord did I ever get sick. Way too much fat after not eating much of it, I think it ruined me on fair food forever. Or I would only have one fried item if I were to…
  • I really like a guy called Millionaire Hoy (silly name but good workouts), he uses a lot of variety in his routines which is great because I don't get bored. I stick with his beginners workouts even though I would say I am at an intermediate level, some of his regular workouts are CRAZY fast and hard. HasFit has good…

  • I know a few people with this problem who use digestive enzymes. Beano is an enzyme supplement supposed to help with fibrous foods. I am sure some people here will woo this, but it could be worth a try, it isn't expensive.

  • If you are worried about breaking out from working out definitely remove your makeup before you work out so your pores don't suck it up. I actually think working out improves my skin because you are emptying out and purging your pores when you sweat. I have trouble with past acne marks too, my skin gets dark marks really…
  • Unique products and generally very reasonable even cheap prices. Just be warned it is not really the kind of store you can do all your shopping at as they have a somewhat limited selection, but I usually ago once a month or so to pick up some of my favorites.
  • It sounds as though your problem is mostly psychological. I would venture a guess that so many years of being hurt physically by the foods you eat because of your conditions and allergies has caused you to have some anxiety about eating. Now with the added stress of tracking your calories it may have put you over the edge.…
  • That is a sure fire way to get your food spit in or worse. Why would you treat your poor friends and family that way as well as the people who are attempting to serve you? SMH.
  • Have some fruit when you have a sweet craving.
