Successes / struggles this week: I wanted to hit my goal of being in the 260s by my birthday, and on my bday, 7/27 - I got to do a little dance, and cried a few tears...I hit 269.8...I actually did it. I've been trying so hard to focus on just getting healthier, eating better, removing bad habits, getting emotionally stable, and mentally focused on being a better, more complete me, and not focusing on the scale, and the scale cooperated and gave me that positive reinforcement I was needing.
NSV - I've been dressing better, feeling prettier. I've actually been catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror and telling myself that i'm gorgeous...I think this is more directed at my face and hair as opposed to my whole body...but I'm getting there. It takes time. I stopped looking in the mirror so many years ago...I'd walk by and not see me...but merely look at whatever I needed to fix...Seeing me is great. Loving me is so much better!
I'll weigh myself for the last weigh in tomorrow...Shark week I'm sure was not my friend, but as long as I keep going, one weigh in doesn't matter in the big picture.2 -
