    Start weight: 138
Challenge start weight: 126.5 (30 June)
Challenge goal weight: 122 lbs (31 July)
    Ending goal weight: 119 lbs

    Weigh-ins:
    30 June 126.5
    6 July 125.1
    11 July 124.1
    25 July 125
    31 July:

    +/- this week +1.1
    +/- this month: -1.5

Struggles: Over a week with no logging, lots of bad food. The house was full of chips, bread, ice cream and various wonderfully delicious but evil carbs. Many large meals and frequent snacks with my family in town. Stressful time at work had me leaving my home made lunches in the fridge to hit up the cafeteria. Thankfully didn’t undo the entire month’s progress and will be back on track this week.

Success: Added more physical activity with tennis, walking and home renovations.

Successes / struggles this week: I'm checking in a day early because I'll be out of the house by 4am to catch a flight and there's a good chance my brain won't be awake enough at that time to remember to weigh in! Slow steady loss this month. Lots of travelling in August, hoping to stay on track and continue the downward slope.

    Weigh-ins:
    July 6th: 158 lbs
    July 10th: 157 lbs.
    July 17th: 154.6 lbs.
    July 24th: 153.6
    July 31st: 152.4

Weight -/+ this week: -1.2 lbs.
Weight -/+ this month: -3.6 lbs

Successes / struggles this week: Weighing in a day early. Had a pretty darned good week diet wise. Ended up skipping Thursday's workout to take care of getting my daughter into a good vehicle. I didn't make it to 146. I think that as I am down to my last bit, it is going to go much more slowly. I have been lifting for almost 4 years, I am in a size 4 and 6, depending on brand, so I need to readjust my expectations. 3.6 pounds a month is okay now.

Big win for me.....my youngest daughter got married in June and has a beautiful dress. I had a really nice tank dress I wore to her wedding and looked fairly good in it. I have lost another 12 pounds since then and we decided to switch dresses. Her dress fits me and won't need ANY alterations! We were both so surprised! I guess the muscles I have built are some of the extra weight I have.

    Weight -/+ this month: - 5

    Successes / struggles this week:
been away working for just under a week and another week to go. i find when I am away I can focus, no distractions from my lovely hubby. Missed my July target by 2 lbs but I am only 8 lbs from my final goal weight so I expect it to slow down.

When I get back my 16 year old neice is coming to stay who wants to be a chef, we have promised lots of cooking with lovely French ingredients, plus we are booked in for a bakery lesson on how to make bagettes. August could be a real challange

    Goal Weight: 193 lbs (7/31 - 5 lbs)

    Weigh-ins:
    July 3th: 198 lbs
    July 10th: 197 lbs
    July 17th: 199 lbs (tom)
    July 24th: 198 lbs
    July 31st: 197 lbs

    Weight -/+ this week: -1
    Weight -/+ this month: -1

Successes / struggles this week: So not managed to reach goal, not even close. I lost motivation - not sure why - for the middle two weeks and let the snacking get out of hand which demolished any calories deficit I'd created. Managed to claw back these last few days with a better attitude. Overall, better to maintain than gain - but annoyed with myself. Will aim to be more consistent next month.

    Weight -/+ this week: -1.2
    Weight -/+ this month: -5.6

Successes / struggles this week: Success - Completed a whole loop of the local bike trails! (19.2 miles). Didn't quite make the final goal weight I had in mind, but as of today I am exactly 25 pounds down, YAY!

Struggles - Near daily migraines had me confined to the couch and interfered with food choices since I was unable to cook.

    July 17th: 135 lbs
    July 24th: 132.7 lbs
    July 31st: 131.6 lbs

I'm pretty disappointed overall as I haven't really lost much over the last few weeks since I stopped breastfeeding even though I have been trying. I have hit my calorie deficiency every day but not really lost weight. I should be 2lbs lighter on paper.

Have any other breastfeeding mums experienced not loosing weight / weight gain when *kitten* feeding?

A loss is a loss I guess so shouldn't be too disheartened. Nearly met my goal!

    Start Weight: 174.8 (7/1)
Goal Weight for the month: 169.8 (7/31)
Although that is strangely exactly 5 lbs- the goal is set to get me the tiniest fraction into a "healthy" bmi for the first time in at least 9 years.

    Weigh-ins:
    July 3th:
    July 10th:
    July 17th:
    July 24th: 173.2
    July 31st: 171.6

    Weight -/+ this week: 1.6
    Weight -/+ this month: 3.6

    Successes / struggles this week:

Struggle is nonstop travel schedule for work, combined with a medically ordered running ban, which removes the easy form of traveling exercise. *sigh*
Success- avoided temptations quite well (boyfriend out of town did help with that some)
Other struggle: I really didn't eat enough this weekend. Although I am happy with the number I think it is artificially low, and it will be a bit before I see it again.

    July 24th: missed
    July 31st: 184.9

Weight -/+ this week: -1.4 lbs
Weight -/+ this month: -5.2 lbs

Successes / struggles this week: This has been a rough month since my future step daughter has been here for the summer. I haven't been able to workout as much as I have, and I haven't been making the best food choices. So I'm really glad that somehow I managed to still get it done! I really want to push myself in the next month!

I am 34 and as most people in my age group, i was taught to "clean my plate" which typically consisted of fatty meats, multiple starch vegs, and some kind of desert with a big glass of sweet tea. (I'm from Alabama). In doing so, I have spent my entire life overweight. This month i decided to join Birmingham Bariatrics Food Program. It's a great program that i really enjoy. I do have a really long way to go. My goal is to be able to keep up with my 9 month old son.
