Those are DELICIOUS! The mint ice cream sandwiches are my absolute favorite treat.

For me it can take a few days. Watch out for sodium and carbs!

Thanks so much. And you are right... if I give up, I'll just keep on creeping up that scale. :flowerforyou:

Very good point - maybe I'll add a few calories when I do HAVE to eat out... because restaurants are notorious for underestimating their calorie/fat information and I forgot about that!

Hahaha! The last few days I changed my Food Diary to include 3 hour-intervals. Before that I had the standard "Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks." So MFP automatically put my "Dinner" in the "3:30" slot prior to the change. I absolutely can't make it from 3:30 to bedtime without eating! LMBO

I don't try to go low-carb, but I do try to eat plenty of good protein (like egg whites, lean meat, etc). One thing folks are commenting on is my "move and being sick" phase - the last 2 weeks have been bad as far as eating, and not reflective of my normal habits. I also just recently switched my days to 6 small portions,…

Thanks  I keep trying to remind myself "slow and steady wins the race' I wonder if too many "sugar free" items with Splenda is goofing me up? I noticed I get kinda gassy/bloaty when I have it....?

Thanks :-) that is exactly how I feel, and you're right, I should remind myself of how hard I'm working and to back off from the temptations. :-)

I am actually very stringent about measuring the foods I eat. I don't eyeball portions, I actually measure!

That's a good point, I often find myself wondering how to fit in more fruits and veggies...typically my kids eat the fruit out of the house before I can get to it, lol. Maybe if I'm munching on fresh veggies more often, I won't feel so hungry.

Great job! I'm right behind you ;-) (okay, well maybe by a few months) lol

Great Job!

Wow! You look leaner AND younger - thank you for being an inspiration!!

I do the same thing; I enter ingredients I use for recipes rather than other "generic" recipes. I have no idea what all is included in things like "spaghetti, homemade" ...etc.

wow, this thread is truly entertaining! To the gal that never craves bread, I hate you. (just kidding!) I wish I didn't crave bread and potatoes, but I do, with a passion! I think we'll all do well to eat foods that can remember where they came from (but I personally will not deny myself the occasional cheeto... I can be…

Great job! That is so motivating!

Thx for the help on the exercise side... it had me a little worried, since I don't always get as much exercise in as I'd like... I noticed that when I change my goal to 1 lb/week, I get 120 extra calories per day! I think that's a lot better than pushing so hard for a measly .2 lbs extra per week. I'm off to grab my bonus…

I love this - 24 sticks of butter... so far!

Hello all! I was in a wine-of-the-week habit (my goal - try every riesling that exists...) but started on Adipex a couple of weeks ago, so I can't have any alcohol..:grumble: So far I'm doing well... though it was painful to toss out the 2nd half of my Chateau St. Michelle bottle... I had gotten to wondering how I could…

I just got a hot air popper. Also, did you know some microwave popcorn (like Pop Weaver) no longer use trans-fats in their light popcorn? I noticed they now use canola oil.

Hi! I work in Reston - nice to meet you! I'm in my first month on MFP.

Thanks - I guess I could start measuring when the scale gets stuck, that did cross my mind yeserday ;-) I'm just going to hang in there and probably adjust my goal to 1 lb per week. The good news is that by watching everything that goes in, I am becoming much better at making smart eating choices and realizing how big an…
