My local friends have noticed that I have lost weight, but after they find out the way I'm doing it isn't the latest fad they lose interest in the "how". A coworker came right out and asked me last week in front of all my other coworkers "So, just how much weight HAVE you lost?" The only person I absolutely do *not*…

Every time I have tried the really low calorie approach, I have found it unsustainable and end up gaining it al back plus more. I keep upping my calories and I'm still losing. I'm currently at 1800 and eat back my exercise calories, too. But I'm pescatarian, and as such, don't eat a lot of fast food anymore, which I was…

Yup. My Dr told me this morning "everyone in the race gets the same t-shirt". My goal is to do a 5k/month. That's a lot of t-shirts. ;-) Thanks everyone!!

Exactly what PaytraB says!! Just keep at it. Lower your intervals until you feel comfortable. You need to be able to talk. Take days off in between. If you over do, you will get hurt or discouraged. I just finished C25K. My interval is 20/40. When I first started, I thought I was gonna die. But after a few weeks, it got…

I wipe everything before and after, even if I saw the person before me wipe when they were done.

I do sometimes. One to-go packet will last me all day. My water intake is about 4-5 whole 32oz glasses.

She said it because her husband noticed.

I agree!! I love this feature.

7 pounds in the last 90 days. That's an average of 0.5 pound/week, which is ok with me for now. I'm in it for the long haul.

Not impossible. I sometimes buy the big bags and measure them out into single servings for lunches and snacks. Cheaper that way. Granted when I do that at home, I usually weigh instead of count, but when I am at a party, I do count them.

People who think I'm going to drop dead in exercise class just because I'm an older fat woman. People who insist I'm "doing it wrong" or "not serious about weight loss" because I'm not following the most recent fad diet but just watching my calories instead.

I use a Galloway easy c25k app that allows me to set my own run/walk times and pace. I run for 20 seconds and walk for 40. I'm in the middle of week 5. I've tried to increase my running seconds, but it doesn't work out too well, so 20/40 it is for me. And you know what? That is perfectly fine for me. I'm progressing…

^^^ This. This. This. All of this. I have 71# left to lose and I'm 5 weeks into c25k. I use a 5k app that allows me to adjust my run/walk times. I've had foot, ankle, and knee problems in the very recent past, and am under the care of an orthopedist and a podiatrist who know that I am running. I have shoes that were fit by…

I actually bought a product the other day (I think it was a candy bar, but I can't remember) that had the servings and calories for the entire package IN BOLD. I thought "How great! Why don't they all do this??"

canned black beans. raw sweet potatoes. cheese. eggs. carb balance tortillas. a good high fiber bread. frozen fruit.

^^^ This. I'm working my way through this book right now. My Dr told me everyone over the age of 50 needs to be lifting weights, but *especially* women.

A chin up. but i'm lifting weights and training so i can do one eventually.

I do weightlifting on MWF and C25k on TThS, and walk on Sunday.

*Exact* same thing happened to me today. A frozen custard put me over by 1000. But even so, my weekly net has me right on track. In the past, something like this would have me stressing and giving up because I'm not able to be perfect, but now, I'll chalk it up to having an *occasional* decadent treat. I've been craving…

Been a couple of weeks since I updated. SW: 257.6 (3/15/17) CW: 241.2 (6/17/17) STGW: 239.1 LTGW: 165 2.6# loss since last check in on 5/27 16.4# loss total I fell into an old habit over the last couple of weeks-- I needed to go to the grocery store (which I HATE) but kept putting it off and eating out, and/or skipping…

Yup. Sunday nights.

This is a total vanity thing, but I've been wearing heels for 2 days in a row. I haven't been able to wear anything but my prescription orthotic athletic shoes for the last *year* because my feet and knees have caused me so much pain (not even able to go barefoot). I haven't been able to wear even the tiniest heel for…

I would intuit myself right through an entire chocolate cake.

Oh, I see now, what the poster mean by green number-- duh. Yes, that is the number I eat, too.
-
I blended some frozen watermelon in my ninja with some fat free coconut greek yogurt. It was DELICIOUS!!!
-
I'm not sure what you mean by "green number". I eat to my set calorie goal (1410), plus the number MFP calculates that I have earned from exercise (which for today was only 70). Today I went a little over, but yesterday I was under.
-
I have an apple watch connected, and I eat all mine back. I'm losing an average of 1.5/week, which is what my MFP goal is set at.
-
I do have to watch my sodium intake because if I have too much, I get pitting edema and a Meniere's episode.
-
I loooove gorgonzola.
