Well some of the threads sound downright creepy.

Poor little mango, put in a timeout for a no-no. My favorite summer treat is a 10oz package of frozen mango with cinnamon spooned on top. Yes, I eat the whole thing because it fits my calories.

My gym time is when I can let go of all the drama in my life and focus on me. Then afterward, the endorphins make the world feel like a better place.

Good luck to you!! After smoking for 35 yrs, I quit for good 10 yrs ago with Chantix.

How great it is to be able to sleep on my stomach without feeling like a pufferfish.

Run-walk intervals work for me.

@Nerdbear88 that is an amazing transformation.

I'm most successful when I prelog things.

I think my apple watch calories are about right, compared to what my BMR and TDEE calculations and my average weight loss is.

I used to blow a year's worth of weight loss in the winter with mindless *daily* "holiday" eating and as little movement as possible. I was stressing for a while about this year, because 34# is a lot of ground to lose, but I have calmed down about it-- I have a plan, and I'm prepared. I've planned my menu, entered my…

Yep, this!! I didn't start being successful until I stopped looking at it as a "weight loss" diet, but as a lifestyle instead. I've slowly built new habits and routines, and have been very happy with the way things have been going. Yes, I have made changes *to* my diet, but a side effect of my new habits is that I am…

These days I do a bagged salad or a microwaveable protein blend vegetable dish. Or a crockpot meal and separate it out into containers for several meals that I can just pop in the microwave.

My ultimate goal is 165, but right now I'm just taking it a decade at a time.

I love love love love them. My Saturday morning guilty pleasure is a fried egg baked on avocado toast.
-
I usually find a similar recipe online and log that.
-
I log everything. I pay attention to calories fiber and sodium. Everything else falls into place.
-
My goal is mindful eating not mindless. Consistent logging, and keeping on track with my exercise plan.

I've already put my thanksgiving recipes into MFP and am planning ahead. I'm not on carb restriction though, I just count calories. If she takes your refusal to eat everything as a criticism just explain that you are choosing to manage your diabetes in a different way than she is. But you have no control over other…

I'm a bit stressed about the holiday eating. In years past I have tended to gain everything back between October and February. But I'm committing to logging honestly everything I put in my mouth this year-- eating mindfully instead of mindlessly-- and keeping up with my exercise routine.

"Please don't let my bra come undone in the middle of my lift again." "Shoot, my bra came undone." "What # set was I on?" (J/K, I got an app for that one.)
-
Yes. My weight comes off like that.
-
This is sort of what I do. The things I watch the most are fiber, sodium, and calories.

Yup. From Thursday to Sunday I gained 10#. Did I really eat 35,000 calories over my goal in 3 days??? No, of course not-- I'm actually 600 calories *under* my goal for the week. I *did* eat 10,000mg over my sodium goal, though, *without* drinking enough water. So I drank my water on Sunday, was up in the night and woke up…

I have several close family members who have had gastric bypass with varying success and terrible long-term side effects, and I know that I am just not strong-willed enough (or medically compliant enough) to go that nonreversible route. I started with 102# to lose. I'm down 34# since my highest weight in November of 2016,…

If 1700 works for your weight loss, and doesn't jeopardize your milk supply, go with that. As you introduce other foods into your baby's diet, though, you will burn less calories.

I'm currently wearing a ring that I haven't been able to get on my finger for about 4 years.

My local friends have noticed that I have lost weight, but after they find out the way I'm doing it isn't the latest fad they lose interest in the "how". A coworker came right out and asked me last week in front of all my other coworkers "So, just how much weight HAVE you lost?" The only person I absolutely do *not*…
