I go along with all the short jokes (I'm 5'1"); they stopped bothering me since 9th grade. The teasing is honestly not that big of a deal (especially when it comes from friends and family, so they're doing it out of ...love, or something like it).

Maybe think about the lunches as a good way to practice moderation I think a part of changing to healthier eating habits is also learning to love food and exercise, which also includes knowing when to let go a little bit. But hopefully you can reach a compromise with them!

It could be IBS? You might want to check with your doctor (that's what I did and found out I had both IBS and lactose intolerance).

It doesn't matter how little you eat in public if you're eating everything crap at home. It's not the appearance of weight loss that counts; it's the effort that ultimately makes the difference.

you CAN, but you honestly shouldn't.... plus weight lost quickly rather than gradually (through means like healthy exercise and diet) are often quickly regained (plus more)

by eating below your BMR, you're not giving your body the nutrients it needs (vitamin and mineral supplements don't count). You'd be surprised how much a person can eat by eating back exercise calories and STILL lose weight

i don't believe it's a good idea. by going on the ketone diet, you might lose weight but you'll also be missing out on a lot of dietary fiber and vitamins you can't get from the foods allowed (getting nutrients from food is not the same as getting it from supplements!). also, forcing the body to use protein as energy also…

to the poster: i've also been there! eating disorder, regaining weight, not losing, etc etc but, like some people have already said before, a lot of weight loss is mindset, and if you do it as you currently are now (which is geared towards falling back into an eating disorder, or at least that's what it seems like to me)…

every other day usually works for me! if i'm having a bad week, i usually stick to once a week it's different for everyone, so you might have to try a few different methods before getting it!

sometimes, yes! it's sometimes in that good feeling i get when i take a walk in the park alone :smile: but...relationships are hard to give up long-term (no pets and, uh, no kids yet). i'm a bit of a cuddler haha
