  • YES! Thank you for asking. I am planning a vacation out west with friends. The vacation will include LOTS of hiking and physical activity. I have to be in better shape or I slow down the group and impact their fun. This inspires me incredibly, in terms of both nutrition and working out.

  • I find that weighing my food keeps me honest. If I don't weigh it, I tend to eat just a little more cheese or a few more cashews. Pretty soon I have consumed multiple servings. It also makes me more conscious about portion size.

  • I find intermittent fasting 2 days on; 5 days off helps me immensely. It is the only way I can get control of my sweet tooth. It seems to "reset" things for me.
  • I lose about 1 pound every two weeks. This does not necessarily translate to 0.5 pound per week.
