It's fine. Eat when you're hungry. I usually don't eat until anywhere between 11 and 2. Sometimes I'll even wait until 5 or 6 pm and just have one meal. I love breakfast food though so dinner turns into brinner often! :)

I prefer to walk outside but sometimes it's too cold, too hot, or too dark. And while her program is "Walk Away the Pounds," it's really more of an aerobic workout. Lots more to it than just walking in place.

Try adding some protein in with your breakfast, like eggs or greek yogurt. You'll stay full longer.

Your diary isn't open.

I struggle with this too. I guess the "easy" answer is just to stay busy so that you aren't thinking about food. But if you're anything like me, after working all day the last thing I want to do is be busy when I get home. That being said, I find that as long as I don't sit down when I first get home, I'm more likely to…

I have a coworker who told me the other day,"You just need to stop now! You're making me look bad!" Sadly, I think she was only half kidding.

You both look amazing. My best friend and I are also far apart, about 1200 miles. We've both been losing weight . . . . .she,170 lbs over the last 3 years and me 72 in the last year and a half. We were texting yesterday bemoaning how difficult it was to go clothes shopping without someone you trust there to tell you…

It's responding this way because it's normal.. . . . .maddening, lol, but normal

It's water weight from beginning your weight training. Relax, keep up your routine, and it will work itself out in a couple of weeks.

Fruit Loops. A can of frosting and a bag of Teddy Graham cookies. Pecans, especially salted (I know nuts are good for you, but I always end up eating the whole bag. The. whole.1. lb. bag.)

Definitely go read this link. I was wearing a 40D that I purchased at JCP (tried on bras for 2 hours!) for 60 bucks. Measured myself according to the instructions in the thread (there's a video linked also) and turns out I am now a size 34FF UK (34H US). Now I don't know where you'd ever find that size in a store, so I…

I was shopping once and wanted to try on some clothes. The sales clerk unlocked the handicapped accessible dressing room and said, "You can use this one because there's more room." On my wedding day my father, who I rarely saw, said to me, "I almost didn't recognize you. . . . .you've gotten so big!" I was a size 14 and 4…

I don't steal. . . . . . . . .jade.

If you are exercising, you should be eating some of those calories back. Aim for a deficit of .5 to 1 lb per week also.

I had a college roommate once who only went once a week. Whatever works for you is your normal.

I remember when i lost my first 25 lbs. It was around Easter so I knew at the in-laws family dinner there were going to be lots of compliments thrown my way. I was primed and ready for the ego boost. Well, not one person said anything. I told myself they were all just a bunch of self-absorbed so and so's. My sister was in…

OP, it seems that your thread has been hijacked. So, back to your post. I would suggest logging everything you are eating and drinking and see what your calorie intake is. If you'll give some additional info such as height, weight, age, calorie goal etc that will help people to help you. If you are logging, open your…

If you open your diary, people will be able to give you some specific suggestions.

But are you weighing your food?

I feel so at home in this thread. As an introvert, I limit my contact with people to short doses so OP (actually just about everybody in this thread) you sound like the perfect friend. My diary is closed so there will be no expectation on my part that you will read, analyze, and comment on it. I rarely post anything on my…

Went out to the refrigerator in the garage to get something. . . . . apparently it stopped running several days ago. Everything's fuzzy so that's the only "unhealthy" things I have.

I like the Margaritaville brand strawberry daiquiri flavor. Mmmmm. .. . .

To lose weight, you need to be in a caloric deficit.
-
If you don't want to open your diary to the public, consider friending a couple of people from this thread and asking them to take a look privately.

That's her TDEE as measured by her Body Media Fit. According to her profile she wants to lose 186 lbs.
-
Pick a number between your TDEE and BMR and eat that many calories per day. TDEE - 500 is good for 1 lb a week loss.
-
She's using a Fitbit. that's how she got the 2300 TDEE.
-
Yes, that's exactly right. Just be sure that you're not overestimating your exercise calories.
