Okay, Labor Day Monday... I've only eaten breakfast and really have no desire to eat lunch as it's 3:20 pm here now. I'm gonna make dinner in about an hour. Ran 2.25 miles today and was looking for the Week 2 Challenge exercises, but I don't see them. So, I'll go do some push-ups, crunches, and wall sits. I might walk with…

Oh! I forgot to post here what I did yesterday. Ooops!!! Let's see, I was under calories, by a lot actually, but didn't want to eat right before bed. 9 glasses of water, 35 minutes cardio, 30 squat kicks (not sure how to log those), and 50 jumping jacks. No class on campus today, but I have tons of homework and research to…

Alright, here we go!!!!!! :-)

Yay!!! I'm so happy I was able to grab a spot on the team! I've been lacking motivation lately, and this accountability is exactly what I need. I'll be back later to add team members and a short bio. I look forward to "meeting" everyone! :-D

I have 32, and that seems to be the manageable limit for me. I go through my list every couple of weeks and delete the ones that haven't been on for at least two weeks. That way I can make room for others who are more active!

After 30 Day Shred, I'm working my way through this workout. It's tough!!! But I find it challenging and fun. I love the cardio exercises. Yes, there is one weight move that is kind of awkward, but I figured it out. I guess my advice would be do the modifications if you need to. They're there for a reason, so work your way…

I see a diference, especially in the upper abs!!! Nice work! I just bought my own copy. I think I might try it today. Keep up the great work, girl!

Welcome...and good for you! The food and exercise journals are great tools, but it's the VERY active community that has kept me here on the particularly hard days. Good luck!
-
Hahahaha!!!! You're not the only one! Hilarious!
-
Yay!!! I'm like you. I never wanted to exercise, but now that I'm in the habit, I feel sluggish or like I'm slacking off if I don't. ;-) Nice job on the running shoes. I picked up my first pair (Brooks) without being fitted because I wasn't sure I was gonna keep up with the running. Well, it's been driving me crazy that I…

I currently use 30 Day Shred and just started Level 2. It's brutal!!! Level 1 isn't all that easy, either, so remember to work your way slowly into it. And if you have to do the modifications, do them to build up your strength. It's worth it, trust me. It's a great workout!

Count me in! I'll send you a friend request. :-)

Thank you so much, everyone, for the help! I have hot green tea here, and I do use the Crystal Light packs occasionally, but they aren't cheap! I love the green tea with raspberry. So, maybe I take the money spent on soda and use it for more Crystal Light! :-D

I'd imagine not!!! LOL
-
Great point! I'm going to do that when it's time for a new pair of kicks. ;-)
-
Thanks everyone! I appreciate the help!

I am currently using Brooks with insoles for extra cushion. I love them and they were right around the $100 range.

I'm gonna do Day 3 of Level 2 today. It's brutal, but a great workout! I even saw a tiny fitness improvement from Day 1 to Day 2. I can't wait to see the progress today. :-) Most of the exercises I can do without modifications, but there are a couple I either modify, do slower, or take a quick break...or all 3! LOL My goal…

My kids love apples and peanut butter! I prefer bananas and peanut butter, or bananas with agave nectar. I put bananas in my oatmeal and Frosted Flakes, too.

I bought a serving bowl and I fill it with fresh fruite every week. Bananas, apples, and oranges usually. The bowl sits on my kitchen table, so that way if I'm hungry, I stop at the bowl instead of the snack cabinet. Veggies are a bit more difficult for me, too, but I do eat alot of tomatoes, fresh spinach, and salads. The…

YAY!!! I have found that the NSV are just as important, if not more, than the ones on the scale. Great job!!!!!

Feel free to add me if you're interested!

Attending the NHL Awards is a goal of mine! That's so awesome that you're going! Hockey has been my fave sport for 15 years now. Say hi to Ovi for me! ;-)

That's not silly at all!!! When I first started losing my initial 57 pounds, I envisioned myself in a bikini, and I'll tell you what, that was a very powerful motivator. ;-)
-
That is great motivation! My brother served as well, so I'll keep that in mind the next time I want to give up. I hope your brother in law comes home safely!
-
Nice!!! I might have to try that now! :-D

"Persistence without exception!" This journey of weight loss is a lifestyle change, and you can't do it without being persistent. It's not easy and you have to just keep at it!
-
W00T!!! Go Pats!!! I've been a Pats fan for 15 years now. :-D

I wish that would have worked for me! A condom was used and I ended up with my daughter. My second one was planned, but I was using two different kinds of control. I was supposed to be done! My third...I was on the pill! AAAHHH!!! I done having kids, so my BC is permanent now. Apparently I'm quite fertile. LOL My doctor…
