ops one last thing, most people hold on to shoes to long, life span of a gym shoe is you use it 5-6 times a week is about 6-9 months, so it's best to have two pairs so you can let the shoe rest between uses. by the way I am a CPT so this is not just what I think, it's what I;ve trained for.

First and foremost, make sure whatever brand style shoes you buy that they fit properly, and that you wear good work out socks. Based on your broad range of activities sounds as if a cross trainer would be best for you. However if you are going to do a lot of walking or running get a pair just for that. Remember that if…

Dude you are 18 years old, you can turn yourself into the next MR USA if you really are willing to try. There is so much you can do, there is so much information availible for free. I would be excited if I were you. In 2002 I was 235 Lbs at age 48, cound't walk up a flight of stairs. So I made the decision to live and even…

Like in the Xmas special, just put one foot in front of the other, you will get there. by the way BMI is just a number mine is off the charts at 206 lbs 5'7" the charts say I should be 145-155 lbs, right in what world.

Keep in mind that the CARB and PROTEIN grams are just recommendations, as long as your total intake is within your food budget yoiu should be fine. Also if the weight is going down you are on the right track.

I hear you on having a support system. My wife had to deal with tyroid cancer 2 years back, the treatment put over 50 pounds on her and she was devistated. i kept telling her that in time she could deal with the weight problem , but getting healthy was more important. We can all use encouragement now and then.

How do i say this...you have it in you to be the fit person you wish to be. Trust in your goals, if you get of track , just redirect. Each of us has it in them to change and improve. Wish you all the luck.

Failure only happens when you stop trying, sounds to me as if you ARE STILL TRYING, just keep doing what you know is right, you will make it.

Wow, that is a lot of sets to do. Remember "KISS" keep is simple silly. If you are working out 6 out of 7 days you may be over training. simple plans are availble on line every where, but it would be best to have yourself evaluated by a CPT to access your level of fitness, just like you talk to your doctor before starting…
