This is a by the book start up plan. listen to her. Cardio 3 times a week is not enough. you need to get your heart rate at between 65 - 75. % of your max rate and keep it there for 20-30 mins at least 5-6 times a week. write to me and i will help you set up something that makes sense for you. Sounds like she has issues. First rule of training people is to find ways to encourage them. You can just keep putting up with this or take it to the fitness director of the facility. If it's a Y ask to speak to the health and wellness director. you have worked to hard to allow this person to make you feel sad.

As a CPT I will tell you that rest days between workouts is very important. your 5 on 2 off is a good rule of thumb to folllow, even doing cardio 7 days a week can be to much, a lot of it is based on your current level of fitness. Try changing your days off every 5-6 weeks, go maybe 3 on 1 off 3 on two off. please feel…
