Take some measurements (neck, chest, belly button, hips and update them once a month. might be that the running is helping you add muscle while you lose fat. So your weight might not change but your body composition is moving in right direction. The scale fluctuates so much for me that I tend to only weigh in once a week…

This is a wise idea, IMO. I tend to do it every three months or so. I will just do some light cardio and mobility work and that's about it. Though I don't want to believe it, I'm 44 going on 45 and my body can't do what it could do when I was in my 20s.

Just gives you one think to work on in the next year. Like me with C2B :)
-
I will be doing RX just to get my 10 reps. I can't do any kind of pull up so scaled is utterly pointless. I will do the squats then 10 ring rows just to do the workout.
-
I think last I just took my 10 reps then did ring rows and got into round 3 maybe
-
^same here....Might as well do it RX.

http://robbwolf.com/2009/11/24/the-black-box-summit-or-how-i-got-fired-from-the-crossfit-nutrition-certification/ Another to look up would be to go to the Grid League's page on Facebook. It was started by one of the guys Wolf mentions above, Tony Budding. Last year at some point, Budding posted something about one of the…

^This. When I really got into I spent a few weeks just walking. At first at a pace that got me winded, then I'd back off a bit. And I progressively went harder until I was really moving quickly and working up a sweat. Running is much harder, but that will help ease the pain a bit. And amazingly enough, when you start to…

I don't mess with my Achilles. I'd get it checked out and if necessary shut things down until its better.
-
^probably

This too. Sometimes when the scale doesn't move but your waist measurements do and your clothing fits better it can be easier to take.
-
Thrusters.
-
Sounds great!
-
Seems it was mostly team competitors, which I can understand. So I'm they then repeated and did just enough work to put up a reasonable number of reps, then did the C&J.
-
Anyone see that Kim Jong Un was temporarily the overall leader with 390 reps and a 475lb C&J? I think he has since been deleted.

Straps would help, but it might also be time to work on grip strength. Hanging on a bar, or just lifting up a bar, two dumbbells or two kettlebells and holding them for as long as you can would help. What exercise in particular are you referring to? I'd assume deadlifts as that is the only one where grip failure ever comes…

I lost some weight right away doing CF but really haven't lost much in the year since. I'm immensely stronger and my clothing all fits better, but now it's time for me to lose the belly. As said above, you really have to dial in what your calorie needs are and then eat at a deficit. I don't weigh everything but will always…

If I went in right now I could probably hit it. But after that workout, no. I missed 185 my first try and got angry and fired it up pretty easily. There was lots of grimacing and yelling after the second 205 miss. I was getting the bar high enough i just couldn't co-ordinate dropping under the bar. On the plus side there…

That said....I have three bags/buckets of protein powders as home :) My protein goal is about 250g/day. One shake with 50g really makes it easier to hit that number.
-
This was a really fun workout. You should just sneak in and try it when no one is watching sometime.
-
Just finished it, very fun workout. Did it scaled, knee raises and 85lbs on the bar. 143 reps. 185lb C&J. Had 205 on the bar and was getting a good pull, I just could not get under it.

Didn't mean to single anyone out, but just saying in general. And I agree daycare was a bit less prevalent, but was pretty common when I was a kid and I am 45. Several of my mom's friends ran day cares with varying degrees of legality :)

If I was interested in all-natural i wouldn't be eating a powder.

I have to say that I think the hand-sanitizer is uses to great excess today. None of us over the age of 40 grew up with it and without seeing data, I'm guessing we were less sickly than people are today. Our immune systems need to be exposed to germs to learn how to effectively fight them off. I would guess that sanitizer…

Legs are back to normal. Doing this tonight with knee raises.

I hadn't thought about my breathing cycle but this is exactly what I do. Two breathes per stroke. I will also vary the cadence a bit depending on the length of the row. 500m is balls to the wall. Longer rows I'll go a little slower (28rpm) and stronger and vary it a bit to keep myself fresh and interested.

My quads are utterly destroyed from a workout two days ago. I'm hoping that by Sunday I can give this a good effort.
