  • Before: 242 lbs After: 154 lbs Loss: 88 lbs Time frame: 10 months Age: 43 I'm still getting used to my face. It sometimes looks a little gaunt/thin/sickly I guess. I like to think it's still settling in. I feel fantastic however
  • I started November 12 2012. So it's been 10 months. The after pics were taken a few weeks ago and I've since lost another 2kg. I currently weight 71kg, a total of 39kg lost (86 lbs)
  • Poor thing asks a question and everybody starts throwing stones at her. Answer the question or STFU people. I don't know about her, but if I asked a question in this manner I would want answers to MY QUESTION instead of the rubbish that is pouring out. There, now I've joined the ranks of you lot and poured out my opinion…
  • That is quite a swing. Mine doesn't vary more than 3 lbs
  • I walked 37km today over 7 hours and was 3kg lighter at the end of the day. I know a lot of that is water weight, but just saying that extended cardio does work. Take a look at my ticker below.
  • Keto diet is also how I lost as much as I have. Definitely recommend it 100%. I started at 110 kg (242 lbs) and have lost 39.2 kg (86 lbs) and counting!
  • I'm awake for about 19-20 hours a day. I got to bed between midnight and 1am, and I get up at 5am. I do an hour of exercise, coffee, take my time and get to work about 7/7:30am, and get home between 6-9pm depending on the day. Then I do another hour (minimum) of exercise. Rinse and repeat.
  • Like everyone else is saying, throw some resistance training in too. I'm having a rest day today which for me means light exercise only, so I did 4 hours walking on the treadmill. If you want to lose weight with minimal exercise then you will need to worry more about what you are eating rather than your output.
  • Looks like maybe a slight difference, not much man, but it's early days. Took me months before I really noticed it, but I am my own worst critic. I don't know why people say don't worry about the scales, and that they lie etc... I weigh myself all the time, I've lost weight and the scales agree with me. Weigh yourself in…
  • Fantastic job mate. I know exactly how you feel. I've lost the same amount of weight and know how good life is now. Well done.
  • Another Perth guy here, living in Hillarys. Feel free to add me, would be cool to have some local friends on here.
  • Hi Andrew, Great to see you've lost 5kg already mate. Nice work, keep it up. I've sent you an email (finally). You can ignore some of my questions in there, I've learnt more about you after reading this. Good to see you are still going for it and serious about changing your life around. Stay in contact. Talk soon Tom
  • 43 year old Perth guy here. Always looking for more friends on here. Feel free to add me
  • That's not entirely true Anna. I eat more now than I used to when I was fat. Yet I continue to lose weight. 1, I eat healthier, much much healthier. And 2, I exercise a lot. A minimum of 60 minutes of cardio a day. I hate blanket statements that include the word "ONLY". You can't possibly have taken every single possible…
  • Perth guy here. Can always do with more friends. Feel free to add me
  • I've lost 34.5kg (76lbs) being on a low carb diet (over 37 weeks). And yes, a big part of that is because my calories have also been low. Up until the last week or so I kept my carbs between 15-30 grams a day and had heaps of energy, I work retail, on my feet and lifting stuff for 60 hours a week, exercise 2 hours a day…
  • I've lost nearly 35kg and my face looks sooooo different. I work in retail and see a lot of the same people over and over. Just lately a few have told me to stop losing weight or ask if I'm sick because my face looks too thin. Well I'd rather have it too thin than just a big ol moon face like I had before. I now have…
  • Where do you all think it goes after you eat it? There's not separate compartments in your belly. PROTIP: it all mixes together after you eat it. Get over it
  • I have the fitbit flex. It's truly changed my life. In 35 weeks I've dropped 76 pounds
  • Great job, you look sensational
  • BMR is your basal metabolic rate, the amount of calories you would burn if you just lay in bed all day. For a 176lbs 27 year old female 5 foot 6 (I took a guess) it is around 1600 calories. So if you were to sit on your bum or sleep 24 hours you would still burn 1600 calories a day. TDEE is your total daily energy…
  • Rockinchick, I don't what country you live in, but here in Australia it's usually available in the healthy food section in any major supermarket. This is the range we have here http://www.slendierslim.com.au/products/pasta.html Don't buy the rice though, it's disgusting and stinks. The noodles and pasta are great. No…
  • I'm about to have my first cheat meal tonight after being on a diet for 250 days without a single cheat meal or guilty pleasure. It's pathetic how excited I am to have pizza or a burger. I hope it doesn't disappoint.
  • Hmm, I would have thought you'd grow accustomed to being on your feet so much. I work retail, standing up, 5 minute lunch breaks, 60 hours a week, constantly moving and lifting stuff. I was way way overweight, have been all my life. Over the last 9 months I've shed 76 pounds. I'm still managing 2 hours hard stationary…
  • I work in liquor retail so I see hundreds of people a day, and the same people regularly. I've been on a diet for 8 months. Some people have been following along with me from day one, others noticed soon after, but others are still only just noticing the difference now. Considering I've lost over 70 pounds I guess it is…
