Explain TDEE

Can somebody please explain this TDEE to me? What's the difference between TDEE and BMR?

    BMR- Is what you would be fed if you was in a coma

    TDEE = Total daily energy expenditure - Which is what you would burn in a day.

    BMR is your basal metabolic rate, the amount of calories you would burn if you just lay in bed all day. For a 176lbs 27 year old female 5 foot 6 (I took a guess) it is around 1600 calories. So if you were to sit on your bum or sleep 24 hours you would still burn 1600 calories a day.

    TDEE is your total daily energy expenditure, the amount of calories you burn in TOTAL for the day. This can vary greatly from person to person, and I couldn't even begin to venture what your TDEE is. Here is a link for you to get an idea
