no. people lose water weight first when dieting, hence the rapid drop in weight in the first couple of days. people might look 'leaner' but thats because YOU cant tell what the difference between water retention and fat loss looks like

this^^ calories are more important than macros. and eat more fats, your hormone production will be drastically altered if you arent eating fats so... -you will get mood swings -your period will become irregular -you will become tired 24/7 calories in vs calories out. nothing more but nothing less.

also that post was meant in jest. i was trying to say to get over your craving for carbs. then you get to your goal. if you are going to go to the gym and sweat you balls off, you obviously cant be that motivated to not eat a shed load of carbs and jeopardise your goal.
