I have used Hydroxycut before and I thought it helped, but it really was not the pill. This time around I have not used any supplements and focus on changing the way I eat and stay focused exercising. Pills do not change lifestyles. That is the great thing about MFP is it helps you see what you put into your body allowing…

Costco has Premier Nutrition brand protein shakes. Me and my wife like the chocolate flavor. It tastes great and does not cost a fortune. I believe they are around $24 for a case of 18. They have 160 calories and 30 grams of protein.

Great job...keep it up! The hard work is paying off.

I got back on the treadmill after not working out for about 2 weeks. This is the first day of another 12 week challenge for myself. Summer is just around the corner and I plan on being the fittest I have ever been in my life at the age of 40. Cheers to everyone staying motivated.

I love that you showed the weight chart. There was a plateau you hit around the 171 mark, but that did not stop you and you plowed right thru it. This gives me motivation as I am at a little plateau right now. Great job!!!

My most recent comment was someone that had not seen me in a while stating that I looked taller. Everyone around just laughed and said, nope, just thinner.

You look great, good job!

There is nothing wrong with admiring your hard work in the mirror.

Good for you....that is awesome. I am getting close to doing the same thing. I can't wait to reach my goal weight, get new clothes and throw all the old ones away because I never plan on needing them again. Keep up the good work.

I learned how this morning thanks to some MFP peeps. First upload the pics to MFP. Then if you are using Internet Explorer right click on the image that was uploaded and click on properties. You will then copy the address of your picture. Now in the body of your post you need to use these exact symbols. If the copied…

Great results. You totally did it right by taking the pictures in the same clothes and at the same location so you can totally see your results. Again, great job!

Most of the time I do not eat them back. I have read all the hoopla around my body going into starvation mode and making sure that I eat back my calories, but in the end it is simple math. 3500 calories equals a pound, up or down. You either lose it or gain it. I know there are times that our bodies plateau, but the body…

I do the same, I allow my self a cheat meal typically once a week. However, I usually try to save my calories to help cover that meal. I have been guilty of taking a cheat day, but I don't let it get me down. In the past I allowed it to derail my progress and after the 3rd or 4th week I would just fall off the wagon…

Great job keep it up!

Good job, keep it up. It is nice to have someone to push you along as well.

It all depends on how overweight you are....I am at just over 20lbs lost and people are really starting to notice now. Remember to do it for yourself and no other reason. When you notice the change others will start to notice as well. Good luck!!!

Great job!!! It is a sweet feeling...for the past 7 or 8 years I have had to fight my wedding ring off and on, now it slides on and off with ease.
