I’ve been taking yoga classes at a local studio for about 1.5 years now. Now it’s closed, and I’ve been doing one of Adrienne’s 30 day programs (Home). It compares pretty well with the poses and sequences I learned at the studio. I think she has several different 30 day programs on you tube, and I plan on checking them out…

I had 999 days once, then didn’t log on day 1000 due to traveling lol. Oh well. Just started the streak over

In addition to going to work everyday (hospital laboratory), I have to go to Walmart to get bottled water, Winn Dixie to get bread, and Rouses to get eggs. So much for limiting Exposure

while not in a room holding a patient's hand or helping to intubate patients of the COVID-19 pandemic, we Clinical Laboratory Scientists, phlebotomists and lab assistants are in the lab handling the many infectious specimens from these same highly infectious patients. We, too, are on the front line placing ourselves at…

I work in the laboratory of a small community hospital on the outskirts of NOLA. We are all expected to come to work for our normal shifts, as by now most of us may have been exposed to the positive patients we have hospitalized right now. The hospital just cannot put all of us on 14 day quarantine. They gave one…

Roast turkey, green bean casserole, corn, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and my bf’s favorite, White Castle stuffing. Oh, and wine for me (usually starting at breakfast), cola for him.

Yes, I meal prep for the week on Sundays too. This week (and most weeks, really) is a green salad, chili, roasted Rotel chicken, chicken tacos, and Mac n cheese, and frozen veggies added to the evening meal. Next week it might be a beef roast or pork roast instead of chicken, but it doesn’t vary too much.

Same here. I have to practically fast for at least a day or two (maybe eat vlcd like 500 cals of lettuce) to see even a 0.5 lb drop

I kinda did the same as you - left my husband of 23 years last year. We both gained weight over the years, but he was always so down on himself. He never said anything to me, but couldn’t love himself so couldn’t love me. I craved any kind of attention at all, and for the last three years of the “marriage”, we lived liked…

I’m finding yoga is really helping my movement and flexibility. I never ever really liked exercise before (except swimming in the ocean or Lake Michigan, neither of which I can do anymore), and discovering that I like yoga is surprising to me.

Pizza for me. It’s very hard for me to limit myself to two or three slices at a time. I can easily eat a whole pizza at a time.

Me too. It’s a waste of time and money

I leave my cash and credit card at home. That way, I can’t go thru drive thrus or pick up something on the way home. Then once I’m home, it’s hard for me to get motivated to go back out.

I’m on my second time around losing weight with MFP. I lost 39 lbs in 2013-14, then regained it all - I thought I had it “figured out” and stopped logging too. Last year, I decided to try again bc I was so sick of still being obese. One thing that helps me, and I know it doesn’t help everyone, is that I do daily weighing…

4.5 lbs away from being out of the obese category of BMI chart.

Are you still accepting members? I need all the help I can get, and I’m actively logging (again) lol

I had 999 at one point and forgot to log on day 1000 when I was traveling to see my son-in-law graduate from boot camp. I’ve been here since Jan 2013

I’m trying to remind myself that, for me, it’s ok to be hungry. I constantly think about food all day, which is nothing new (binge eater here). I’ve done the eat-every-two-hours thing but I was never satisfied and still binged. Lately, I’m always assessing my hunger levels, and am now trying to only eat my pre-portioned…

Cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, orange and Diet Coke. Pretty much every day for work lunch. Add some soup or half sandwich or something sometimes.

I’ve been going to a local studio for about 7 months now. I modify most poses still, but my flexibility has definitely gotten better. My legs don’t hurt after working my 8 hr shift on my feet. I’ve lost 50 lbs in 11 months and the yoga seemed to help me keep focus and mindfulness during the holiday season. It seems to be…

I love kale. My favorite way is when I sauté it with sausage, onions, garlic, olive oil and white beans in a chicken broth.

Bought a summer dress in size L off the rack. And I even wore it out to the store! Never, ever did that before. Was a tight size 20W
