Im military so I have seen, and been through the transformation associated with just running 3 times a week for 45 minutes and doing calisthenics (body weight exercises) 2 times a week for 45 minutes. After 8 weeks, I definitely had a 4 pack. Now I go to the gym because I prefer to be able to target specific body parts so…

I personally like clean eating. Basically, you cut out processed (aka prepackaged) foods. Like you, I have an hourglass shape so I easily pack weight on around the waist. Limiting carbs (can't cut them all- Im irish after all!) combined with clean eating works well for me. I cook most of my meals on the weekends and during…

Starting Phase One today. Unfortunately, I cannot stop doing cardio, as it is required by my job, but ah well. Also, i disagree with supplements, as I get most of my nutrients from my food, but i will be adding a potassium/magnesium vitamin, since I don't consume enough of that. Wish me luck!

But most importantly, the potassium you need in your diet is relative to your sodium intake. If you eat 1mg of sodium, you need 2mg of potassium to keep you from retaining water. If you eat low-sodium foods, you…

Hey now, I did do side crunch on bench yesterday lol. I like to combine it with my back raises since I am on that bench regardless. Unfortunately, I didn't read the post first (it was suggested to me by a gym-rat). As for today's post, I am incorporating restorative stretching into my routine (something i usually forget to…

I too was only able to read the article. My interpretation of it is kind of like the old argument that the only way to get better at pushups is to actually do them and to be a better runner you actually have to run from time to time. This is because, although a bench press and a treadmill are similar, they are also…

I am in! Although I am extending it to no sweet tea (my greatest weakness!)

I am a hard one to match it seems! I am 5'10" and 24 years old. HW: 178lbs CW: 170lbs LW: 120lbs (too thin, no muscle) GW: 130lbs ish Although, waist size is far more important to me (and my job). My goal waist size is a 29!
