Maybe before you binge, divide the food you normally would binge on into pre-measured bags, and count the number of bags that are empty when it's over? (Or know how many you had before and how many are left). Also, perhaps the act of getting up and getting another bag would alert you to the behavior and make you reconsider…

L.A.M.B. by Christopher Moore--hysterically funny if you like irreverent humor, it's the story of Biff, Jesus's childhood best friend. And The Wave, by Susan Casey--fascinating and enthralling, it's the story of freak/rouge waves told through the eyes of scientists and big wave surfers. Highly recommend both.

Have you tried changing your exercise routine? Your body can get used to exercise (I think it's called muscle memory) which makes it less effective. Also, have you considered calorie cycling?

I'm in a wedding May 17 and need to lose weight so my dress zips (the parts that I measured fit, it's just weirdly tight between my stomach and chest, which...I did not see coming). But hopefully it will be the motivation I need to finally get my act together!

I'd reply, but the glass of wine in my other hand makes it hard to type

Haha. I have the same issues. My A1C was too high, so I've been trying to bring it down, and then end up with alot of lows, so I eat too much to bring it back up. And then I'm out of calories for the day, lol.

I myself enjoy South American and Spanish reds. Or anything that will kick my *kitten* a little (ie, I hate dessert or sweet wines). Currently enjoying a glass (or 3) of Cab Sauv. Cheers, friends!

Lol. My HRM usually gives me almost twice the calorie burn that MFP does. Is it wrong? I mean at the end of the day even the best HRM is an estimate, and MFP can't factor in things like the level of exertion (again, beyond an estimate). It's not an exact science, any more than the calories that they give you for various…

This. I have an underactive thyroid and felt like this until I got on medication (and still feel like this when the medication levels get too low). Have it checked

I recently joined a gym very close to work. I have an hour or two. At the very least I'd like to get some good cardio (running, elliptical, rowing machine if they have it, etc). My face get RED. Bright, tomato-colored red. And a cold shower doesn't even bring it back. Seeing as I have to be presentable at work, anyone have…

My thyroid is useless, so I'm on levothyroxine (generic synthroid). The dosage is very directly based on weight, so as you gain/lose (or, hopefully for most people on here, just lose), you want to have your dosage adjusted. Too little and you'll be tired, lethargic, and have no energy (and likely gain weight), too much…

You already know the answer. No. As you state, it says not to NET under 1200. 1200>0. So, no, you are supposed to net 1200, not net 0. If you exercise that much you need to eat more.

There's a little over 500 calories in a bottle of wine (depending on the wine. It's something like 525ish). Factor it in.

mmmm....diet soda (weaknesses involve diet coke, diet dr. pepper, and the cherry variations thereon). Yes. I drink like...8ish a day. It's not great, but it's not bad either. I'm getting 64 oz of water a day, and I'm happy (I don't drink coffee, so this is my caffeine, and I love the way the bubbles dance upon my tongue).…

I work 10 hr days with an hr-hr.5 commute each way. I would use my lunch break to go running or to the gym. If your lunch break isn't long enough to make this feasible, maybe work out a deal with your boss where you can stay an extra 15-30 min in the evening to have a little longer lunch. But I found even a 20 min run and…

Cut in half, then stuff with garlic and herb cheese spread (laughing cow, alouette, whatever), minced garlic, salt, herbs (all to taste). Season outside of chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dip them in bread crumbs (I like italian) and bake.

It is rude, esp at some place like a hibachi restaurant, to go and not order. You are taking up a seat that that restaurant could be using for a paying customer (and no, the fact that you are (probably) paying for your kids doesn't count).
