I don’t know how old you are, but I was a closet bulimic when I was younger. I’m 31 now, and my family never knew. I stress ate, and couldn’t stand the feeling of overeating, so I’d purge some of it up. I have so many regrets about not treating my body right. I messed up my hormones and my adrenal glands are now failing…

The treadmill goes off an "average" If you're keeping your hands on the treadmill the entire workout (sounds complicated to do!) then you should get a fairly accurate read. Try seeing what your average heartrate is for a minute and how many calories you burned in that minute. if you did a half hour on the treadmill, you…

I feel im kind of in the same boat as you. I eat really good food, that sometimes don't have enough calories in them (never thought that would be a problem) Sometimes I just eat a couple spoonfulls of sunbutter, or drink some chocolate milk. I feel really full, but I'd rather give my body what it needs.

Running is the only I was ever gifted with (it doesn't require much coordination). If you want to improove your run times it isn't in the distance. It's nice to be able to run a long stretch, but it isn't going to pick up your pace. I do a lot of hill and interval training. If you can run for a half hour strait try doing…

I play accoustic guitar, piano and sing as well. Mostly hobby play, nothing big :) Add me if you'd like!

Completely depends on the person. I've never done Aqua Zumba. But I've done Zumba where my friend burned 700 calories and I burned 400. I'm guess it's a good burn though!

Mine is open to friends to keep me accountable. If you want to see it, add me!

I use TurboFire. I love the variation of the workouts and the schedule. There's cardio, stretching, weight-training and yoga. It's extremely motivating. Somedays you workout for 15 minutes (seems short, but trust me you're DONE, when the DVD is done!) and up to 55 minutes. Really great, and inexpensive compared to others.…

I use a Polar FT4. It is my first one and nothing super fancy. It's pretty basic, however, I didn't want to spend a crap ton of money on something if I wasn't going to be using it everyday. I am actually using it right now and I enjoy being able to see where my heartrate is at during my daily routine. It's nice KNOWING how…

All great insight! I think you're all right. Working out fell off my priority list and I've made excuses about being too busy. I do the bike rides with family, but it isn't quite enough. I think I'll have to jump back into morning PT. Thanks everyone!

Hello new friend :) Divorce is never fun. I'm actually on marriage number 2. I got this one right though. First one I think my brain wasn't functioning! Ha. They say it takes 14 days to create a habit (however, I've had people tell me 7, 21...etc) however long it takes! Let's get after it! Best of luck!

Don't let a scale determine your fitness level. I remember weighing 148 pounds when I shipped off to boot camp. For 2 months, I was worked and worked and worked. The last day our drill sergeants had us do a weigh-in. I thought "I'm so excited, I look great, feel great, I bet I've lost a ton of weight!". I stepped on that…
