Hi, I left it set at lightly active which is what it was on when I was on anual leave, I never moved it to the mailman setting as I wanted to add it as exercise, I only measured my round for 2 days but have been on MFP for 195 days now and have lost all the weighr I want to lose hence why Im trying to be so anal about it.…

Hiya, I measured it around 800 the second day, I have been off for a while so maybe ai was just shocking my heart again but itbseemed to settle down on the second day.

Thank you, this is just the sort of thing I was looking for, wow, 3000!!! hope the tips are good.

Thanks for all the great replies, it's been very helpful, I think I will just up my activity level and make sure I eat all those calories daily,if I keep losing weight (when I dont want to) then I will just gradually raise the calorie level. To the guy that said this is getting silly, no its not, all I see on these pages…

Maybe thats the way forward for me, to eat half back.

Pretty much identical situation, carry between 74 and 85 kilos a day on my back split into various bags going up flights of stairs at a brisk pace. Todays results were realistic to me, Im putting yesterday down as a freak day as it was my first day back in 6 weeks but 800 calories over 3 hours travelling 4 miles sounds…

No mate, Ive lost enough which is why im being careful with how much I eat, Im trying to maintain and lose that last bit of lose skin/ fat under my belly button.

Ok, so tested my round again today and made a note of all the information. I used my HRM with the strap and also used the runkeeper app. It took 3 hours and 8 mins Average HR was 98 with the low being 54 and high 123 I was in the zone for 46 secs, above 0 and below 3.07 My HRM said I burned 878 calories and 60% fat. The…

I was set to lightly active which is not double cointing as that is for someone who stands a lot, I made sure of that as double counting is not good to anyone.
-
I will let you know the average heart rate tomorrow as it reset due to me using it again to cycle home, Im gonna test it again tomorrow. Im pretty sure it was between 110 and 125 and it was definitely 60% on the fat burn figure for the whole 3 hours, this surprised me because Insanity is usually around 45% for me.

Yeah, normaly I set it to activate which is the serring for mailman but I have been on anual leave so left it on lightly active and used the strap/monitor out of curiosity. I will give it another go tomorrow and maybe not eat back the calories then maybe change the setting and stop logging it.

I was getting to 110-120bpms a fair bit, my round involves a lot of stairs, to put it into context, I wasn't just strolling around like you would do around the house,, I was walking briskly and climbing stairs for most of it with weight on my back, the heart was indeed pumping more than normal thats for sure but not…

It's not an estimate, I have a Polar heart rate monitor with a strap sensor, its the first time Ive used it at work to track my round.

Vodka and Soda Water. A few drinks wont mess up your work though.

Thanks, thats the sort of info Im after really, they do fit into my calories and I want to eat them in bulk, if its not bad for you than thats good. Trying to eat the healthier options and if they can be eaten in bulk like Brocoli for example than that is good to hear.

I am, I do and I do!!!!

Hi, I've done something similar which is why I asked really. For the last few months I have also cut out potatoes rice and pasta and been living on veg and cous cous along with my meat getting good results but now I'm starting to intergrate some sweet potatoes and just wondered if they are viewed the same as potatoes…
-
I'm not sure what that means tbh. Basically I want to have half my plate filled with sweet potatoes to fill my meals out and am wondering if its the right thing to do. I find them filling but don't want to go down that route if they are not that great to eat like that.
-
Right, thanks, so it seems theres not much in it.
-
What's the problem? so long as it's in your allowance, no? I've had a few glasses over the last couple of weeks and it hasn't harmed my progress at all, if anything I've been eating less to fit it in.
-
170 days today, feel obsessed haha.
-
I'm stunned by it tbh, done slimming world before and its a free food so to see it be so high in calories threw me a bit.
-
Thank you.

I would have lost it quicker but also been more miserable. There's a fine line befween living and exsisting.

This whole myth about eating junk food and not being able to carry on with your aim to lose weight is silly. I eat junk food all the time, infact, I'm about to go and get a KFC but it's built into my daily allowance, I've not put on weight since I started using MFP. I lost 1lb this week in a week that I had a café…

Fast food is not supposed to be healthy.
-
If you have the time why not? Insanity in the morning, eat through the day and another workout at night. I don't think you can ever over exercise, you could probably burn out though so I guess it's down to how you space it out.
