That honestly sounds really good! & I do actually like edamame, so the picture you posted looks like something I'd eat willingly! haha

Kyle: I plan to go on a few shorter day hikes with a weighted pack (~10-15 lbs) with plenty uphill ahead of time. Hopefully that will help a bit. This will be our fourth year doing it, so I'm not a complete stranger to multi-day hikes, but I can definitely say it was a lot easier the first year when I was in really good…

I'm a big proponent of "do whatever works for you". With my work schedule, I find it works best for me to get up at 5 am and have coffee. I eat a small breakfast (~200 calories) around 6:30 or 7 am. Around 10:30-11 I'm generally pretty starving, so I have "lunch" (~300-350 calories). When I get home from work around 2 pm,…

We're going to try our hand at making our own sushi! Also wine, probably. Or chammpagne. And fancy chocolate. Maybe chocolate covered strawberries.

27 years old. I've lost nearly 100 lbs in the past 3 years. Took a bit of a hiatus, and now I'm trying to drop the last 15. Feel free to add if you have similar goals~

I love them, but they are pricey. MusclePharm's Combat Crunch bars are even better imo, but even more expensive unfortunately. :P

I'm still not good at not eating everything on my plate (unless it's not something that tastes really good to me), but I realized this the other day as well! Lately I've been feeling like I've been having some off days, but in reality... my off days are better than my "good" days used to be. I was reading a post about…

I used to! I did p90x for 3 rounds (9 months), then did 1 round of p90x3. Moved on to something else now, but that's what got me in to fitness in the first place. Went from being unable to pull myself up even a little on a pull-up bar to doing 8 (with feet touching the ground in between, but still!) and no push-ups…

The only time I think it's worthwhile is if you have (near) future plans of moving closer together. I'm stuck doing medium/long distance for the summer (until October) and it sucks, but I'll be moving over to where he is then, so it's manageable.

I think about food all the time. Planning, logging, when I'm going to eat, what I'm going to eat, when I get to eat next... am I going to go over my calories? Do I have enough calories left for x y or z? Then feeling guilty if I go over calories or eat something I didn't plan to eat. To be honest, it's pretty tiresome…

I'm about to start a p90x/insanity hybrid after I finish p90x3 (one more month to go!).

Disclaimer: I am by no means a "clean eater". I use protein bars and protein powder in a lot of things to up my protein. Quest bars are my favorite, but they're so expensive so I usually resort to Pure Protein bars. I can get a pack of 12 for ~$12 and they have 20-21g of protein each (for 180-200 cals). You can use protein…

I try to limit it to once a week. Lately it's been twice a week. At the beginning, I restricted it a lot and probably only went out once every 2-3 weeks. Now I just plan ahead and log the food to the best of my ability before I get there. So I always know what I'm getting before I go and that makes it easier to maintain…

Life was a lot less stressful when I wasn't aware of just how many calories were in all the things I used to eat! But being fat sure made life pretty crappy.

Do you weigh all your food? I feel like your banana entry is probably off. If 2 bananas is only 120 calories, those must be some tiny bananas. Most average sized bananas have 80-110 calories each.

Posted this in its own thread before, but here it is. 5'5" SW: ~230 CW: 135 GW: 115?

I don't have any solution for you, but I just wanted to add that this is an issue for me too. Well, back when I ate very unhealthy, I would get terrible stomach pains & cramps 3-5 times a week. But I was regular. Now I rarely ever get that (maybe twice in the past year), but I'm no longer regular and I do get more gassy. I…

The whole "OH NO FROZEN MCRIB MEAT" thing really got me. All frozen meat looks pretty similar to that, haha.

Lol, that article just looks like over the top fear mongering.

I would just shrug it off and ignore them, probably.

Left: June 2013, ~230 lbs. Right: Today! 140 lbs. I'm 5'5". Still working on losing another 10 lbs but I'm at the point where I'm more focused on fitness.

Not that I'd want to, but.. cottage cheese. 7 cups = ~1,400 calories, 31g of fat, 217g of protein. Protein would be waaay overboard though.

I used stove popped popcorn for a long time.

Hell yeah. B)

Nah, I sleep 8-9 hours per night. I fall asleep A LOT faster (like.. 5 minutes or less) since I started working out.
-
I try not to do it often. I go out to eat maybe once a week with my SO, though, and that's something I consider a "free meal". However, I still try to fit it into my macros so I'm not over calories for the day! The last real "anything goes" day I had was Christmas.

I'm not a huge fan of veggies either, but roasting them is super easy and makes them delicious! Maybe look into that.

That's been the one downside of weight loss (along with being cold 24/7). I went from a 38C (although I was probably pushing a 40) down to a 34B, but I can comfortably fit into A cups too. :/ It sucks, but I'd rather be thin with tiny boobs than fat with moderate-but-still-small-proportionately boobs.

Mine used to be be big and I hated them, now they're 15" ( just measured). Tbh I don't feel like they're HUGE anymore (although fitting into boots is probably still an issue?). I'm not concerned with how they look and I assume they'll shrink even more as I approach my goal weight.
