I was just wondering what I was going to do with 2 over ripened bananas! Thanks for sharing!

I don't leave home to workout without it! Also, I have had mine for over 5yrs with no problems!

Purchase a heart rate monitor. It is the best way to gauge how hard you are working & number of calories you burn. I have a Polar F4 monitor & love it!
-
Zig Zag your calories. Eat high one day, low the next, it helped me break a major plateau.

Agreed!! Cottage cheese use to be my go to for protein but not since I started tracking sodium. We have a history of high blood pressure in the family and I am the only one not on medication for it. I also will be looking for lower sodium cottage cheese but have yet to find any.

There is only 1, BRONCOS!!!

I like combining a full body workout with dumbells with the Eliptical. I do compound exercises for each muscle group: squat w/shldr press, lunge w/bicep curl, etc... I will do one exercise for 45 sec ( I try to get back on before if shuts off) then get back on Eliptical for 2 min, then do a different exercise & back on…

Purchase a heart rate monitor. It is a great device to measure how hard you are working and how many calories you burn. The readings on machines can be off by 30%. I have the polar F4 it has the basics and has been working for over 5 yrs with no problems.

Good for you, what a great gift, the gift of health. LOVE the Broncos sign!! GO BRONCOS!

I sooooooooooo need to get back into dieting after Turkey day. This is the time of year where I usually just say "screw it" & eat at will through Dec. 31st. Not this year, I am determined to lose weight instead of gain! CW= 180 Christmas loss= down 5lbs GW= 165

After my Thanksgiving feasting, I need some motivation to lose my last 10lbs, count me in.

You really need to focus on losing weight for yourself to be healthy, not for Grandfather, mother, etc.... You need to lower your weight loss goal to be more realistic so you are not setting yourself up for failure or to be unhealthy by attempting to eat too little or try some fad.
-
Wow, there are no words.....

Buy a heart rate monitor with a chest strap. You will set it with your age, weight, height & gender and it will give you a accurate amount of calories and let you know if you are working in your target heart rate range. They are well worth the money. I have a Polar F4 which I have had for over 5 yrs without a problem.

This happened to me & I ate at maintenance calories for a week, then went back down to my lower calories & began to lose weight again. I also have 10 lbs to go & my body is fighting me all the way. You have to mix it up.
-
I still have 5 lbs to go to reach my goal, so this week I am going to concentrate on mixing up my workouts & kicking butt to shake up my body.
-

I give our lab 1 fish oil tablet daily, helps with her dry skin & makes her coat shiny!
-
I am trying to up my protein intake. It is so hard for me to get my protein in, not a problem with carbs.
-
Don't think about it, I talk myself out of it then. When your alarm goes off don't turn it off & think oh I'm so cozy, I can workout later, etc...just jump out of bed right when it goes off & have your gym clothes ready!
-
bump, thoughts and prayers are with you & your family
-
Wow fantastic job ladies!! Everybody is really focused, keep on going!
-
My challenge this week is to get my recommended amount of protein. I struggle with this, I am such a carb girl. Have a great week everybody!

I am smiling today because I have my walking partner back. My chocolate lab wasn't feeling well for a about week & wasn't able to walk with me, I was lonely. Her first day back was today and it made my day & her day!
