This happens to me because I have a SIBO (Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and I have fructose malabsorption. Do some research on those. The only thing that really helps consistently is following a low FODMAP diet. Its completely worth looking into allergies, intolerances, Celiac disease, B12 deficiency, MTHFR gene…

Can you tell me what you see in my diary with sugar alcohols? I don't eat those. I have violent reactions to them. I think I bought a box of Atkins bars in October and it was a mistake but you say you see "a lot of fake/faux foods" and I don't have a clue what you see.

If I do a TDEE calculation it works out to the same numbers that my BodyMedia gives me, so I'm coming to the conclusion that its just a fancy calculator. Good thing I didn't pay full price for it! Still wondering about those fake foods guys! LOL

Thank you to all of you; I really appreciate your advice. I'm super confused; can any of you tell me what fake foods I'm eating? Besides the PB2. I'm having a hard time understanding what you guys see. I don't even use artificial sweeteners except for stevia and I make all my own treats like fat bombs and low carb…

Hi thats so kind of you to look into my diary. I'm about to lock it up again and take a few days off because its all so frustrating. I just want to respond to a few of your points; I am taking some to heart and I have some arguments against a few of them hee hee ;) 1) I think your calorie target is too high. I'm approx…

80% of my calories come from fat but I have trouble striking a balance between low calories and high fat, as most people do. Hence the PB2.

Yep, that's a great point. My food notes today are all about how I've come to the same conclusion and will be eliminating them. Hence my binging on them today. :)

Interesting; I was wondering about that. I thought I had success at under 50 once but I had been wondering if I need to drop below 20. Will give it a serious try. Thank you. I'm freaking out. Woke up today with the weight still on. This is not a one-time thing either; haven't seen a net loss since August.

Oh, awesome. :) Good to know!

Hereisgone125 - I super appreciate the feedback. I don't give a lot of thought to sodium because I eat few processed foods (obviously I eat processed meats & cheeses but very few things that come in boxes.) I did go over two days due to my favorite salami that I eat as a sometimes treat. I didn't even notice so I really…

It was open only to friends. Should be open to all now. Thank you for looking and letting me know!

Its totally supposed to be open; let me check my settings.

Wow this looks amazing. How did no one respond to this? I might try this recipe tonight. Thank you.

I smoked for 14 years; I started when I was 14. I hated quitting; I cried for like 2 weeks straight. I used the patch & Wellbutrin. This was six years ago. I tried to quit about sixteen different times. Obviously I failed the first fifteen times and succeeded the sixteenth. So my first bit of advice would be preserverance.…

Yay I love this thread; you guys are an inspiration. I don't like seeing that others have a tough time but I do like knowing that I'm not alone. I have all these conditions too and mild lupus. It can sometimes be mind blowingly hard to lose weight. I've been at it for 7 years. I lose very slowly and I get very fatigued…

I have this; still figuring it out. Not too clear on the best way to manage it. I didn't get a dx from a doctor yet; just reviewed my genetic results from 23andme with a professional from mthfrsupport.
