I mean, duh. Of course when you weigh more, you have to eat more to gain or keep gaining...so of course with the same number of calories, as weight increases, the rate will slow and you'll have to keep upping calories for the same Rate of gain.

I don't download music. I use Pandora and keep it on Saucony Runners High station 'cause it has no commercials....commercials really screw up my head during runs.

During runs I use a Garmin watch and it automatically puts it in MFP. The watch uploads data to Garmin Connect which communicates with MFP. Garmin now makes watches like fitbit and upgrades just the same.

I'm a lone runner. Unfortunately. I know very few runners and it's hard with my schedule to get together with anyone else to run.

I'm training for a first - a half marathon , but I have no interest in an ultra.I can't even fathom it to be honest. Even a full sounds daunting. I'm in awe of you ultra people.

If it workout very early before work as early as 5 AM sometimes ) I find I am nauseous afterward if I don't eat something small like a Greek yogurt or half a banana before then I pay for it . I am way too hungry by 7 or 8 AM to not have a full breakfast before my usual time of day workouts.

Those are high calorie meals. It's been recommended that breakfast bee 300-400 calories, lunch 400 dinner 500 and then the rest for snacks or treats.

I can't fathom 5,000 calories. Just the volume of food. The time dedicated to eating that much also...just can't imagine lol.

Well, it's really difficult sometimes. Sometimes you have to be creative and the schedule is never the same. Since I work 3-4 12hr shifts a week, I do the most on my days off since my 3 kids are all in school. If I can't get my exercise in in the morning on my days off, I'll wait til after dinner around 7pm to get a run…
