Toning. Take up a toning class or buy some toning type DVD's. Keep up the walking for sure! And I've heard that the South Beach Diet is supposed to take care of those areas - something about the type of fat we store there due to the type of carbs you eat. I haven't tried it yet, though.

I had this happen to me a lot, sometimes on the treadmill even. But then I discovered it was only when I wore a particular pair of tennis shoes! I no longer where those shoes and now I never have that numbness and tingling any more either. Maybe try a different pair of shoes?
