as far as abs go it would depend on how much they got cut during the surgery. You could have a flat stomach regardless, if you have a low body fat percentage. the only way to really figure out how much definition you could get is to do ab exercises and see the results after some time.

I weigh in once in the morning and once a night. No real reason why, just habit. I know when i weigh in the morning thats probably more accurate since i've been sleeping and not eating or drinking water.

I haven't seen anything funny but i have seen packs of guys working out together, which can be a pain. A group of 5 or 6 guys taking up a machine is annoying. plus they all talk and take forever.

you can work out while you're sore. sometimes its beneficial to. try doing a light warm up jog for 10 mins before your workout, and then do cardio after your work out. Stretch too. Your muscles have alot of built up lactic acid and running before and after and stretching help push that out of your muscles.

You could just aim for a goal and try to hit it and wait until that last possible minute and only make one alteration to your dress so you don't have to keep redoing it.
