  • I suggest you add a pre-run snack into your schedule. Make sure you give yourself enough time to eat and feel comfortable running so you don't get nauseous. 700 calories isn't a whole lot before a run considering running can burn 150-300 of those calories at a time leaving you with not so many to keep your system…
  • avocado cools the tongue with spicy foods in my opinion so maybe some brown rice and avocado. Or you could do some sauted mushrooms, smashed cauliflower
  • I would love to know how you guys actually get your butts out of bed at 4:45 and 5 am?!?! Lol I'm so not a morning person, the snooze button is my slave. The only time of the year when I'm up that early is for seine boat rowing during a festival that takes place in June! Kudos to all of you that can get out of the nice,…
  • Portobello mushroom caps brushed with evoo and crushed garlic
  • I buy low sodium deli meat and make half a sandwich using 1 slice of multigrain, some almonds, a stick of string cheese, a banana and a seltzer water. I love packing my own lunch!

  • I used to love my snooze button as well and I won't lie I hit it twice this morning, but this only takes me maybe 10 minutes to make. And only using one yolk makes it lower in fat and cholesterol.

  • Sounds like your father feels replaced by your new husband and in-laws. You need to sit down and discuss the problems. But my gut thinks that he feels pushed to the side to make room for your new family. You said it yourself it used to just be the two of you, you worked for him, you confided in him, you and him seemed to…
  • Spaghetti Squash! Takes the flavor of whatever herbs, flavors you mix with it. I got a four year old to ask for seconds she liked it so much because even though she knew it wasn't pasta, it was close enough.
  • I sacrificed sleeping longer in the morning and grabbing a takeout breakfast for getting my bum out of bed and cooking a healthy one. I save money not spending $5 a day on coffee and a sandwich and I feel fuller longer and I'm eating more food for less calories. :drinker: I also sacrificed my afternoon tv shows while…
  • I fry 2 egg whites and one whole egg with some zero calorie cooking spray. I use one piece of cheese and cut it in thirds so each egg gets a little cheese and I cook up a slice of ham to go with. It's delicious

  • Peanut Butter-aholic over here! No shame in my game. I will take a spoon to the jar and eat that for dessert! Put it on bananas, rice cakes, celery, apples and but its always good on a spoon. I would never be able to give it up.

  • Yea she said her daughter had been away and this treat meal made the kid happy which made her happy. We have a dominoes, mcdonalds, papaginos and a friendly's in town. I still would rather pick the locally owned pizza places. Mmmm bbq chicken pizza is calling my name
  • I just looked at one day and your sodium was way way way over. However if you are trying to eat more calories just add an additional item to each meal, in my opinion that is the easiest way to do it. Breakfast add an extra egg or a piece of toast lunch, add a banana, maybe another slice of protein, snack on some almonds,…
  • Friday morning, wake up, pee, strip down, weigh This is the only weight for the week I record However I will weight myself Monday after the gym and Wednesday after the gym just for curiosity
  • That sounds amazing
  • I used to work in a produce department. Frozen fruit/veggies contain more vitamins and nutrients because they are frozen as soon as they are harvested. The fruits/veggies that are in the produce department slowly lose nutrients via exposure to the lights in the store and the time it takes to harvest, package, ship,…
  • I cube chicken breast and boil it, shred it while its still warm. Add some mayo, some extra fine shredded lettuce, celery for crunch, some sunflower seeds. mmmmm
  • I set up goals and rewards for those goals for myself. 10 lb loss = either a new handbag or new pair of non-gym sneakers 15 lbs loss = whichever of these ^^ I didn't buy 20 lb loss = new swim suit 25 lb loss = lots of new clothes In the gym when I'm losing my motivation I just think of how I want to look and ask if its…
  • All my girlfriends are supportive so I don't have this issue. I have one girlfriend who can't really relate, shes all of 4' 11' 90lbs and eats her weight in bacon lol. However I have one close friend that doesn't have the same goals but its health and gym focused as well and we constantly share ideas and recipes and tips…
  • Veggies in a pita pocket w/ humus Deli meat rolled up Wraps
  • Not sure about the socks but they best thing you can do for the blister is to leave it alone. DO NOT POP IT. I get blisters from rowing and the best comfort I've found to continuing with a blister is to cover it during activity and let it breathe when I'm resting.
  • When she joined she agreed to abide by a dress code. She also, if she fully read her agreement, agree to a "no intimidation zone". However absurd this whole situation may seem, the gym was very clear about this policy. If other members for whatever reason, and if I read correctly there was more than one complaint, felt…
  • Nothing so significant but you do seem like width wise you have slimmed a small amount. keep working!
  • I use an appetizer plate for my meals. You can trick your brain into thinking what you are eating is a lot because the food crowds the plate so much. As far as seconds, thirds, and other snacks before you go for it try drinking a glass of water and ask yourself "am I eating this because my body needs it or because my mind…
