I still count calories but I've been stuck for over a month now so maybe that's not working for me and I need to try something new.

Is 1000 calories really too few?

I know the feeling. I've been stuck for the past few weeks at 8 pounds loss and I'm about ready to give up.

You are more than welcome to add me.

I'm 47 and I just starting losing again and that makes me very happy. I'm staying under my goal everyday and if I 'm even close I will add in an additional workout. I know do any of the "normal" rules as I only eat when I'm hungry. I know it goes against most people to not eat breakfast but that didn't work for me. I know…

Hi I'm Patsey and for the time in my life my weight has become an issue. I'm not just naturally "skinny" but was in the Navy for 25 years and kept high standards, but now that I'm retired the weight just seems to stay in place. Would love to meet some new people and help with the motivation as I need the help also.

I walk everyday. Its my main form of exercise since I can no longer run (need knee and ankle surgery) but I can walk. I've lost 13 pounds and feel better everyday.

Hello Samantha, I was in the Navy for 25 years and stayed very healthy and could keep up with the guys on our forced runs and marches. I retired in April 2008 and decided I no longer had to stay in shape because it wasn't required. One day 6 months ago I was short of breath after walking up a flight of stairs in my home. I…

I am sorry, but I had a tummy tuck so I would be showing you a "cheated" tummy.

Sadly I step on the scale everyday twice a day. I weigh myself first thing in the morning and also right before bed at night. I know the evening weight will be up but for me it lets me know how I've done for the day before hitting the bed so if I need to get in one more workout I do. I know I'm over the top but it works…

Thats Awesome.............I am looking forward to that day, but I know I've still got lots of weight to lose to get there.

Wow, it really looks great. I always get my lunch at Mark and Spencer's when I'm in London. I miss it when I'm back at home in the states.

Louise, I've found myself right where you currently are and I found this site. I think this site works if you're willing to be totally open and honest with yourself and the "friends" you make on this site. We keep each other motivated and encouraged and for me that has helped loads. I know this doesn't really give you the…

I run a gourmet cheesecake and full service catering company.................and I love it. It does make it very hard for me to keep my weight off when I'm always trying new recipes.
-
I totally understand. I'm back for my second time also, but this time I'm sticking with it. Welcome back and good luck. We can do this.

That is awesome............I'm sure you will be well under your 13 minute goal. I know I did it for 25 years in the Navy and once I retired I totally retired and I'm going to get back down to 12min 30 secs.
