MFP Fitbit Zip The fitbit zip It lets me know how many calories I have burned in a day and MFP helps me count my calories so that I can adjust accordingly to maintain or lose weight. It is a great combo. Fitbit also measures my steps/miles traveled. I also do Zumba a couple of times a week!

Hugh Jackma!! Total package in my humble opinion!

I bet there is someone there that felt the same way maybe a few months ago. You are there to lose the weight and that is what a gym is for. Don't let that negative thought keep you out of it! YOU CAN DO IT!!

You will find it with glitter unicorns and fairy's. Just enjoy a real beer. :drinker:

Done!! Thanks for the challenge! I have an eye appointment this afternoon, so the gym may not be in the future. Now at least I did a little something to love my body.

This may help... I took an Intuitive Eating class and it changed the way I see food. I took away it's power and now I enjoy it more. A lot of reading, but good info. Good luck! :flowerforyou: Stages of Intuitive Eating 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating 1. Reject the Diet Mentality Throw out the diet books and magazine…

I am with you on this! I can't get into ANY of them and I have an unhealthy obsession with Sean Connery, lol.

Talk to your friends about it and I am sure they will be supportive. We have similar get togethers and we have 2 vegan friends that join us. We make sure that some dishes accomodate their diet so that they know we want them there. Your lifestyle change shouldn't take over you having fun and enjoying life. It is supposed to…

It is me, myself and iTunes.

No "cheat day." I instead practice moderation and do not limit myself to what I want to eat. I think that restriction gives food power and a special day to gorge just gives card blanche to sabotage a weeks worth of work. Instead allow yourself to eat what you want and take away all the "taboos" so that a thin mint is just…

It seems we have taken the same trip! I too am 5'3" and have lost 35 lbs. My wardrobe has completely been overhauled! I went from a 14/16 to a comfortable 8. I work in an office, so most of my slacks were replaced (minus a few pairs I would not part with when they got too small). But I hit up local consignment shops since…

It sounds like you took an intuitive eating course! You took the power away from food by still eating what you want, just being smart about how much. Listen to your body and you will achieve success, without the stigma of "good" or "bad." All food is fuel, just some are more efficient for your body than others. It took me…

"Ender's Game" by Orsen Scott Card. The it is supposed to be the 80's version of "The Hunger Games" which I loved!! I just started it. If those are your kind of book, I also recommend "Divergent" and "Insurgent" by Veronica Roth. Not as fantastic, but still worth it!

There are a million types of tea, so I am sure you will find some. I usually add nothing to mine except the occasional lemon wedge so most of the time it is a calorie free drink. Bigelow has some of my favorites. I say just try some at a local coffee (ironic, I know) shop and you are bound to find one that you like! I…

Count me in! I am 5'2" or 5'3" depending on who is measuring, but I started at 172 and now have whittled down to 138. I will dig up my before and current photo's and post them soon!! My goal weight is 130, but I will see if I want to go further when I get there. High school weight was 120, with my 20 year reunion is next…

So pretty, just so pretty!!! That just made my Friday even better. Thanks for posting!

Me too!! (Even went to one of their investigation sites in Iowa.) Add almost any other show like that. Psychic Kids was another one. (I <3 Chip Coffey) I get so much crap from my husband for burning through them on NetFlix and hogging the TV time!

WAY TO GO!!!! What an amazing transformation!

I got a FitBit Zip about a month ago, and I love it. It syncs with MFP, so I no longer have to log workouts into MFP, just food. They do work well together. I clip in to my bra and don't think about it for the rest of the day. A lot of my friends have it as well, and it allows us to cheer eachother on when we are slumping,…

I had that issue when I first signed up. Once you have your fitbit information loaded in, go to MFP and add your fitbit in the apps section. Hope that helps. I was a little confused by making them sync, but now that I have it going, it has greatly reduced on line time. MPF for food and FitBit marries right to it for…

First, congrats on your success! The changes you've made thus far are fantastic. I would say just give it time since it looks like you are stepping it up with the new work out schedule. The extra that you are now doing, you should see changes. I would suggest bringing your calories up just a little. Listen to your body…
