Girl, that is fantastic. You look great. Give it time. Those love handles will disappear, too.

Eat right & exercise. Even though very busy & all the other excuses, keep healthy. Then I wouldn't have to be going through what I am now. But, being as how this is where I'm at, keep this up, listen to all of you & your advice, & get the job done. I just want to feel better.

Fantastic. You give us all hope. Keep us tuned in on your progress. What is your goal weight?

How many times a day do you walk the dog.? Maybe, if the dog is slowing you down, you might want to do a brisk walk on your own once a day, as well. Are you drinking plenty of water to help flush your system? Think high protein on your food intake. Hope the leg is healing well.:flowerforyou:

I, too, have joint problems. I have had surgeries on both hands, shoulders, hips, one foot, & the knees are next. But, I want to lose about 50 lbs. before I get them done. I use a Gazelle at home, as there is not much knee action/stress, but it can get the heart rate up. I cannot do a stationery bike, either. But, I can do…

I'm strictly a walker. Don't need any more back pain than I already have. It will just take me a bit longer to get to where I want to be.

Don't be embarrassed by your "before" pics. We all start someplace, & I bet most of us look(ed) similar to yours. Good job!!!

You can add me, too. I have only a few as well.

To the ice cream lover, I'm so glad you entered that comment. Now I don't feel so guilty, as I, too, love my ice cream. I, also, work it into my daily food count. Yum, yum!!!

Good for you. As long as you are meeting your goals, that's what counts. Right?

I do daily weights, as well. And I try to do so in the AM, under similar circumstances-after my water pills have done their job, undressed, & before brkfst. If I don't do it before that, I skip it. I've tried going a whole week, & it drives me nuts!!!!

Have you tried stir fry? I substitute skinless chicken legs or thighs for breast, as meat is quite pricey. Or you might fix a pot of stew, meatloaf, or spaghetti. Cook an inexpensive pork & shred it. Many things can be made with that. Are you both on a diet? If it is you, like me, I will fix meals my spouse likes & cut the…

My doctor says to get 90g protein a day to lose weight, which I find very hard to do, but am trying.

I drink the Weight Watchers protein drinks & add fruit, mostly banana, to them for thickening. 10 g protein & 5 g sugar per packet. They come in vanilla & chocolate, & each box comes with recipes.

Count me in. I need this, too.

Check with a hair salon. They are the experts.

It's great steamed, boiled with some Kielbasa or sausage, in soups, sauteed with sliced carrots, or pigs in a blanket, just to name a few. Or have an Aussie night & serve Bubbles & Squeak. Yum, yum!!!!

As long as you are using this site for the other categories, use the food count that it gives. Anything to stay consistent, don't you think?

Super job. Keep it up. Hope I can do as well.

I am in a similar situation, but feel I have to start somewhere. I think you have set your goals too high. This website, after I entered my vital statistics, told me how many calories & how much I would lose in a certain length of time, & I am going with that. Walking is probably the best thing you can do to start - 10…

I started 2/6 & would be happy to be a support to you. In fact, this is my first entry, so any others that would care to join, I would appreciate it. I need to lose about 50 lbs in order to have knee replacements, & I would like to get it done this year & get them over with. It will be great fun to help each other…
