Thank you for all the support. I haven't measured myself but I agree this is a good idea. I know it's a process and though I may not have lost I have been good to myself and my body this week so that has to count for something. Today is a new day, I am determined to get to the size and weight I desire so I'm just picking…

I've heard that Fennel tea is supposed to be good

I've taken Hoodia which were mildly ok, I've also had prescription Amphetamines but they sent me scatty and have massively dangerous cardiac side-effects.I find eating lean proteins such as tuna keeps me going. I'm also a big tea fiend and for savoury cravings I have a hot mug of Oxo, wierd maybe but only about 19 calories!

NOM NOM NOM!! I love green beans, am definately going to try this. thanks

start to do things with your body you enjoy, pamper yourself and your brain will start to catch up with your body. I know it sounds a bit 'hippy' but things like self massage, body brushing, bathing, dancing like a loon, Yoga and positive affirmations can help you connect with your new physique and get in touch with how…

I have a long way to go myself but I would monitor your Carb intake, and combine both daily Cardio and a few times a week some resistance/weight training. Almost all days I stay within my calorie range but on the days my calories are taken up with mainly Carbs I don't loose. Too many Carbs plus high BMI can leads to…

Ooo Richmonds! me too, in fact I have a weakness for all sausages! even when people tell me they're made from 'lugs and lips' I still drool!
-
that is just what I needed to hear! after a high start I was struggling a bit these past few days. You're an inspiration, keep us all posted with your progress x
-
Hee Hee!! that's funny!! thanks
-
Ive not seen the program...may have to youtube it. ps. you have tattoo wings! I plan on getting some when I qualify from Uni
-
That and bags of suger I've heard before! Its a good idea don't you think? I don't eat a lot of sugar so have always found it hard to use that as a means of seeing my weight.
-
May start the Sausage Club...my total aim is to loose...hang on let me work this out...560 sausages in total! Ok, maybe that wasn't a good idea. I'll keep my total in pounds as it seems less scary!

don't be nervous. I found this place only a week ago and it has been such an inspiration. everyone here is going through weight and body image issue to some extent and the support it fantastic. I'm from the UK too. I've friended you, hope you don't mind x

thanks for the advice, I'm only going to pick up some lighter weight dumbells for my arms as I'm like Olive Oil and have zero arm strength and the lowest weights my hubby has got are a little too much for me at the moment. I can get a small set for about £10 so I figure even if I only get a few months of use out of them…

Hey I'm Lee-Ann and live in North Yorkshire, I've got a long journey ahead of me (70lbs would be ideal) but am feeling so positive this time, my husband is on board but he has the opposite problem to me and is trying to put on a bit of weight and tone up. It's still nice to have a shared interest (soon to become an…

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking. I'm not wanting to become like 'Madonna' toned (ick) but it would be nice to feel stronger and obviously the benefits of resistance training for us women and our bones make it really important. My husband has started to use his weights again but unlike me hasn't an ounce of fat…

I'm in too, this is going to be great! good luck everyone, whatever we loose is a success x

you look wonderful and its so nice to hear someone actually talk positive about themselves, their body and their aspirations. Being over-weight for even a short amount of time allows our minds to accept that negative thoughts about ourselves are ok. Congrats on turning yourself around, I'm still getting there but even in a…

it seems high to me too. I wouldn't want to put that I have a lightly active lifestyle because I only work about 3 days a week (although they are all long shifts). I'm going to go with pedometer and work it out from there but as I said before I have no intention of using the extra calories, it would be just nice to see the…
-
That makes sense. I figured I'd burn something but I'm trying not to delude myself by over-estimating. I 've got a pedometer on my phone so maybe I should put that on and see tonight how many steps I've done and work it out more accurately...I'm trying not to be too obsessed but I also want to have a good idea how many…

Ooo!! can I join in please? my current weight (as of the 1st Jan) is 217lbs x

Hi I'm new too, only about 5 days but already have this site sussed! it really is easy once you get used to it. The community it great too, so many lovely people giving lots of support which so far I'm finding invaluable. Good luck with your journey x

as a tattooed lady my best advice would be to wait a little, think about the things that mean something personal to you, google tattooes and images of these things and go from there. Its a life-time commitment and should be something that you can live with forever, also make sure you find a GOOD tattooist, ask to see their…

DING DONG! lol. well done, you look fantastic! great inspiration for me

I too am new here, I've been using the myfitnesspal app and website for about 3 days and really am loving it. already got lots of support and advice and being able to log everything from calories, to exercise to things that motivate me has helped.
