3 pounds in 3 weeks with only 30 pounds to lose and you aren't happy? Relax, have patience, don't do a cleanse or any other bs quick fix. Continue what you are doing it's working Here's some links to read that might help: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1159755-looking-for-a-detox-cleanse…

You really need one! I have to say I loved the nutter butter creation it was dare I say even better than Talenti especially after I drizzled more of the homemade caramel sauce on top Mmmmmm good! $28 at walmart and I shared lots of links to recipes on my blog yesterday :)

Log how much you use if it's slightly over that gives you a little margin of error. Don't over complicate it
-
From your ticker it looks like you started close to where I did. I was 285 when I started and I didn't start seeing noticeable differences until I lost about 50 lbs. The only time I started seeing quicker body changes was when I started heavy lifting. Not sure this answers your question

Had to share my latest ice cream creation YUM - Caramel Bourbon Nutter Butter Ice Cream

Yes I definitely thought I would reach my goals, as I set realistic goals. Did I set a goal to lose 100 lbs in 6 months.. NO, because that's unrealistic.. but my goal of sticking with it and improving my health and pushing myself to be better than I was yesterday I work at daily. Now I set short term and long range goals…

Definitely this :)

Just making sure I understand. So you want to lose weight but don't want to put any effort into it. - If you won't take the time or effort you aren't ready. Which isn't a bad thing just means you aren't ready, try again when you are. You have bad body image issues already. - You may want to speak with someone about this…

18 year old male needing to lose 18 lbs should not be eating 1300 calories a day. Log your food accurately and honestly. Go for 80% good choices the other 20% don't worry so much about. I eat lots of delicious food and have consistently lost. Keep it simple find a REASONABLE deficit: Most people do not need to eat 1200…

My question would be why is an 18 year old male eating 1300 calories?

You found me out I am extremely jealous of your 24 lbs lost....

Love your attitude! Please read the links that were given they have great information.

I've lost 112 lbs while drinking a minimum of 2 pots of coffee a day. Why would I want to put myself through hell when I enjoy my coffee. I figure I could have worse vices and I'll stick with my coffee besides a week with no coffee and I would probably be divorced or locked up for murder. Life is meant to be enjoyed and…
-
If I had to give up my coffee I would have stayed fat cause life without coffee is not worth being here. It also hasn't impacted negatively at all on my weight loss or my sleeping, and I never lay in bed hungry as I always take a serving of ice cream to bed with me :)

Ever hear of a paragraph break... But from what I could get out of all of that not necessary and just NO.
-
I agree with this!

You do not have to eliminate processed carbs or only eat grass fed beef whatever. You have to accurately log to make sure you are eating at a deficit. And OP diet soda is not causing you to stop losing sorry but no
-
Get a digital scale and work on your logging some. Just a couple things that I noticed quickly: Homemade Indian Curry - Is that your recipe or an entry from another MFP member. If it's not yours you don't know what they included or what a serving really is. Homemade Vegetable Beef Stew - Same as above Olve oil .33…

Check out these links they will help: Log your food accurately and honestly. Go for 80% good choices the other 20% don't worry so much about. I eat lots of delicious food and…

Log your food accurately and honestly. Go for 80% good choices the other 20% don't worry so much about. I eat lots of delicious food and have consistently lost. Keep it simple find a REASONABLE deficit: Most people do not need to eat 1200 calories to lose. If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal If you have 40-75…

Look you are young enough to be my son so I'm going to try, I was 285 lbs when I started, and after yo yo dieting most of my life, 18 months ago I decided to finally take control of my health. Stop looking for a quick fix to a serious problem, and learn how to do it the healthiest, and easiest way for me. You don't need to…

You need to eat WAY more! Curious, why are you deciding this is the way to lose weight? Following the plan you have currently outlined, I see a few miserable days for you and your family, and then you giving up because it's not sustainable.
-
Definitely this! I'm usually the last one saying to switch out the cookie but I'd be starving and miserable eating that little. Check some food diaries get ideas. You shouldn't be this hangry and making everyone around you miserable.
-
If this is a special celebration for your son, go out enjoy it and make the night about him and not worrying about what you are eating, tomorrow get right back to work.
-
From a look in your diary, you are just really getting started so 1 have patience. Now the other I saw some suspect things: 1.; An entry for dry cake mix and nothing that went with it 2. Multiple entries that look like they were recipes created by other MFP members, stay away from these as you don't know what they cooked…

If you open your diary we might be able to see. But without checking your diary Find a reasonable calorie deficit, get a digital food scale to help with portion control. Have lots of patience. And I'll post some links that really helped me. Log your food accurately and honestly. Go for 80% good choices the other 20% don't…
