100+ stair climbs (up and down 1 flight 10 times), done. 100 jumping jacks, done. 50 globe jumps (holy crap!), done. Plus my planned yoga and crossfit for the day. Over water, but unfortunately, WAY over calories. No extra miles today.

This was happening to me up until a few days ago. I replaced the battery in the heart rate transmitter part (not the watch) and that seems to have fixed it. Also, have you washed the strap in the washing machine? I wash mine by hand after every use then in the washer once a week. I've been told that not doing so will cause…

I make my own whole wheat bread, tortillas, and pizza crust most of the time lately. They're not especially low-cal, but they're not loaded with preservatives and crap like the ones in the grocery store. Tortilla recipe http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/mexican-whole-wheat-flour-tortillas/Detail.aspx (I use olive or canola oil…

Thursday's Challenge (flip-flopped with Tuesday because of rain) 50 swimmer's presses + 1 extra mile run, done. I ran a total of 4.5 miles today (my 2 scheduled for the day, 1 for the challenge, and 1.5 towards our 200 miles) Bonus challenge: drink 100 oz of water, done. I've had 15 glasses (120 oz) so far. Under calories:…

OK, I posted a recipe last week, but I'm not sure it counts towards the challenge, so here's another one I love. It's from the Better Homes & Gardens Eat Well, Lose Weight cookbook, which is full of great simple recipes that use real ingredients.…

It's been pouring rain here for the last few hours and there's no end in sight, so I had to flip-flop today's challenge workout with Thursday's workout. So, today I did the 21s and the jumping jacks; on Thursday I'll do today's swimmer's press and extra mile(s).

No problem! But I just realized that I gave you the link to the wrong product. Mine is the RunLite AirStretch 4. The one I linked to earlier was just a RunLite 4, I don't know what the difference is, but it looks like maybe it has a smaller pouch. Anyway, this is the one I have:…

Yes, you can completely remove the bottle holster if you want to use fewer bottles. The pouch is also removable.

I just got a 4-bottle Amphipod about 3 weeks ago, and so far I love it. I compared Amphipod, Fuel Belt, and Nathan belts before settling on the Amphipod. http://www.amphipod.com/products/hydration/hydration-belts/runlite-hydration-belts/runlite-4 Pros: *The pouch/pocket is big enough to hold my keys, ID and cash,…

Kick squats done, over water, under calories (are we still reporting those this week?), no extra miles yet, but I'll definitely get a few done tomorrow. Goodnight all!

Congrats on the new mindset! I'm also a bit anti-scale. I gave it up for lent this year and since that ended, I have been only weighing in the first of every month. It's liberating to just be able concentrate on the overall healthy eating and work out picture instead of constantly obsessing over how each and every thing…

I find restorative yoga helps to ease muscle soreness.

CrossFit is fabulous! You might want to take a look at this thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/241563-community-for-crossfitters-by-crossfitters-anyone-interes

If you're willing to try to do all of the challenges, I say stick with it. We're already close to a quarter of the way there; only a little more than 3 more weeks to go. We're here for support if you need it. Ask for the modifications for the challenges you can't quite do and break up the large sets into something…

I'm done for the day! Did my pushups and crab touches, but I wasn't around any stairs, so I couldn't do the bonus stair climbs. I'm under calories for the day and I'm at 13 cups of water and counting... I also added an extra mile to my run this morning, so I'm all caught up for this week and ready for week 2! And, I might…

I've been using the android app on my Galaxy S for 8 months without issue.

Yay! Now I don't feel quite so guilty for being way over my calories the day before I joined the challenge. I'm crazy-competitive so my overage was really making me mad! ;) And thanks for all the work you guys are doing putting this together...sounds like a lot to keep track of! You guys are great!

I'm a new addition, so I'm catching up a bit here... Monday: Jumping jacks done Wednesday: Crunches done Thursday's Burpees, etc. done Water done all 4 days, but was way over on calories yesterday :(
-
Wow! You look fabulous! And how great is it that you were able to get the before and after photo taken in the same spot. It really shows off your remarkable achievement!

Wow...I thought I had it bad! I'm not allergic to quite as many things as you, but I feel your pain. I'm allergic to sulfites, and it sucks! Actually, I should say, I have an intolerance to sulfites, as it's not an allergy in the strictest sense. But when I consume foods with sulfites, I develop swelling and hives on my…

I'm allergic to sulfites, so I can't have dried fruit preserved with sulfur dioxide. Whole foods and other similar supermarkets sell dried fruit without sulfites/sulfur dioxide.

This is so me! No matter how hard I try, I'm always late! This is so NOT me! I suck at small talk!

Yay...congrats! Clothing NSVs are so satisfying! But I know what you mean about the happy/sad feeling. I went to a party yesterday and had to dig into the skinny part of my closet to find a dress to wear. While I was super-happy about the "new-old" clothes that fit me again, I was a little disappointed to see that there…

Great post...thanks for taking the time!

1derwhy explained it perfectly. I have an abundance of mangoes right now from the tree in my yard and that's just how I do it. It's the quickest and easiest way to get it done and the cubes are perfect for freezing and using in smoothies later. In fact, I'm going to have a mango/banana smoothie right now! :)

I'm allergic to sulfites. This used to mean I just avoided the biggies: wine, balsamic vinegar, dried fruit, molasses, etc. but it seems that as I get older, I'm becoming more sensitive. My allergist has given me a ridiculously broad list of foods to avoid, which in addition to the things listed above, also includes:…
