Great job! Such an inspiration to build more muscles!!! You made me laugh when you said that ^^^

This is exactly the question I was going to ask - not a silly one at all! Thanks for everyone's input. I hope it gets easier.

you can add me too!

I think it does for sure. I am pretty shy/antisocial and don't tend to be the conversation starter often, but the friends I have made on here have shown me support many times and I have them as well. Also, just seeing that they are keeping active daily helps to motivate me and get out there and get sweaty!! all are welcome…

hey there, A fellow MFP member just showed me this site called Fitness Blender. They have tons of workout videos on there and I searched for low-impact for you and here is what I found:…

^^^^^ That's me! Spoonfuls out of the jar!

I have just done the same thing... only I raised it about 500 more than MFP tells me too. This is based off my TDEE number and BMR number. Check out this forum post for more details on this subject: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 And best of luck to you! :)

I also wanted to say that I use the bodyrock HIIT - but I usually just make my own up using the exercises I have learned on their site. Works for me. Working at it hard does get my heart pumping and I sweat like crazy!

I say 1720 cals. Its not good to eat too few calories. See the link erinsueburns posted! It's helpful. I just upped my calories and its so much better this way.

I used to go to a gym and do the whole bike/treadmill or elliptical thing. But my membership was up and I decided not to renew and do workouts at home every other day and run on the other days. So, in my experience I have been doing HIIT's at home and I have lost way more weight and gotten stronger at the same time since I…

bananas are my favorite! I do stick to usually one a day, but sometimes at night my husband makes this sweet chocolate/peanut butter/banana smoothie where I get another half, but 1 a day is good for me. Not too many calories in my book. I think its worth it!

How about adding fruits or vegetables - not much protein or fats - & doesn't hurt to add some of those to your diet, in my opinion.
-
I just watched that 2 nights ago too! Seriously a great movie! I noticed netflix has a lot of good documentaries right now based on food, diets, etc.
-
hello, I hadn't said hello either.... :ohwell: But, HELLO!
-
Thanks for mentioning this... I didn't see that part .... so much information out there, good to have help like you.

I am right there with you trying to get these last pounds off! I just read today about TDEE and BMR and if you calculate those then you shouldn't eat more calories than your TDEE or less than your BMR. So, I am starting that today. I raised my calorie allowance and see what happens. Calculate your BMR from a calculator…

Awesome Job! btw, I don't know how to post pics either!

I used to have that same problem! I thought I was the only one who would walk in and walk out because of how uncomfortable I was. Then I joined an all female gym, but now I just workout on my own at home or go jogging... and actually I have lost way more weight and got more fit this way. Kind of glad I moved on. How are we…

Very true!!!

I think you have a good plan. Watch your weekly calorie intake and exercise. My husband loves to go out to eat pretty much every weekend, and I get sucked into it... and I do not just order a plain salad when we do it.... and it seems to be fine for me with my weight loss. It's okay to splurge every once in a while: cheat…

I am 5ft 7.5 in. - my goal is between 132-135. I am at 138 right now.
-
Hey, whatever works! I do the same thing for many of my favorite cravings.... I love french fries too! And peanut butter, but not at the same time. ;)
-
I like stines idea. But you could also just purchase natural peanut butter that is made with peanuts and thats it! Trader joes has its own brand that I am addicted to. And you can add honey to it yourself.
-
I've done the same thing and I just guess how much to take off if I didn't actually consume that much, or guess how much to add if I ate a little more than planned. I am not sure if there is another way to do it.
-
thanks for the motivation! You're awesome too!

I use bodyrock.tv but I make up my own workouts too based off the bodyrock style using different exercises I find on the web. Using an interval timer I do 50 seconds work, 10 seconds rest, repeat for 8-20 rounds and sometimes repeat those. It's a hardcore workout and no equipment is needed. Sometimes I use a chair for…

nuts & seeds are a great healthy snack! And make sure they are unsalted, plain nuts. Just be careful because the calories add up quickly. Or carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes & cucumber slices work good too.
-
Don't beat yourself up about it. It happens. Just move on & grow from it. One thing I do to help me with not doing this is when I feel hungry, I first drink a tall glass of water - or what works even better is hot green tea - makes me feel full. That should help. And also what I do is I remind myself how I felt after my…

I sprinkle nuts on my oatmeal in the morning. Or add them to salads. you could also try almond milk. Or make a cashew alfredo sauce that tastes so divine on pasta or over veggies! MMMMM! The good news is a single serving of nuts/healthy fats is pretty small, so since you don't enjoy them that much you can sneak them in and…

- add slices to a veggie sandwich with tomatoes, cucumber, spinach, shredded carrot. YUM! - add them to smoothies! - add slices to salads! - Top certain soups like tomato soup with slices! - put slices in burritos! - top chili beans with slices! - Put slices on a veggie burger! The possibilities are endless with avocado!
