Girls, 5ft7!

In my head I would love to be around 130. I am almost 5'8 though. I think I would be thrilled with 138. Right now I am trying to eat well. Avoid fast food, which is hard right now because I deliver pizzas and it was recently my birthday. My sister is taking me to eat at my favorite indian restaurant for lunch. I am also working out at least three times per week and trying to be more active in general.0

Determining frame size: To determine the body frame size, measure the wrist with a tape measure and use the following chart to determine whether the person is small, medium, or large boned.
Women:
Height under 5'2"
Small = wrist size less than 5.5"
Medium = wrist size 5.5" to 5.75"
Large = wrist size over 5.75"
Height 5'2" to 5' 5"
Small = wrist size less than 6"
Medium = wrist size 6" to 6.25"
Large = wrist size over 6.25"
Height over 5' 5"
Small = wrist size less than 6.25"
Medium = wrist size 6.25" to 6.5"
Large = wrist size over 6.5"

Wow! I am almost 5'8 with a wrist measurement of 5.5 inches! I guess Im a small frame.0 -
130, but depends on how I look. If I am toned I'll take more than that0
-
I'm 5'8", and 160 is my goal weight. I don't think I can maintain if I get much lower.0
-
My goal is 135. I haven't seen that since college...We'll see.0
-
i'm 5-7, and my healthy weight was always around the 148/size 6 range. i have super broad shoulders and chest, so being any smaller than that would put me in the 4 range, and that's too skinny for me!!
i've got a ways to go before then though!! If i get to 150 i would throw a party at this point...0 -
I am 5ft 7.5 in. - my goal is between 132-135. I am at 138 right now.0
-
I'm about 118-120 right now. I'd like to gain muscle and go to 125, maybe.0
-
My original goal was 140. My "goal range" is now 130-134. I'm .7 pounds away!!! I am 43 and I have never been this thin/toned.0
-
I started out wanting to get back to 130, but now I want a body like Erin Simmons, so I'm not looking at the scale for the moment. I want muscle's. :happy:0
-
130-135 but also toned0
-
My goal weight is 135-140. I am a pear shape and have very wide hips. When I was 140 about 7 years ago, I was toned and still wore a size 10 on the bottom because of the hips. I tried to get into a size 8 and to no avail. I did however wear a size small or medium comfortably on the top.0
-
Goal weight was 130lbs, but I got down to 128. I'd like to try to see 125 (because I'm never satisfied) but happy where I am :-)0
-
i want to get down to 145, but i may adjust once i am closer.0
-
I want to get to 125.0
-
5' 7" here! Pear shaped and would like to see 140 right now and then will take it from there. Have a little over 9 lbs to go to reach that goal. Will depend on what I am comfortable with. I originally aimed for 145 lbs but when I hit 150 I realized I wanted to lose more then originally planned.0
-
I'm pear too! I carry every last big of weight around my stomach and thighs, so annoying -.-
^^^^This is me and I would like to hit 135 but would be happy with 140...hanging at 143 now!0 -
5.7
150 -155 lbs any lower than that and I will look sick0 -
My original GW was 145, then I changed it to 140 and now its 132. I don't think I will drop it again, I'm just about happy with how I look.0
-
145-150ish is my goal0
-
140-145 range, I think. Or whatever weight I fit into most size sixes easily. I'm pretty sure it'll be 140 because I was a size eight when I got down to 148.0
-
probably 150ish. i am more aiming for clothes size rather than a scale ##. jean size 29 (NOT SLIM FIT- as i naturally do not have a boyish frame).0
-
My goal is ideally around 150ish, but for now I've got 160ish in mind0
-
As of now its 180. Only becausei haven't beenin the ONEderland since middle school.
Its sad, i'm only 20 & knowing i allowed myself to get this way is pathetic.
I have nobody to blame but myself.
BUT, after MANY failed attempts for some reason this time around is so much
different.
I'm so excited to see what the skinny girl inside me looks like! (:0 -
I'm 5'8" and started at 209lbs.
Original GW as of 12/01/11 = 165ish
GW as of 6 mos into journey = 158 lbs
CW as of 1/13/13 = 152lbs
Set a goal at the upper range of a healthy BMI, and then see what your activity level and daily calorie intake will sustain. I found that once I hit my goal at 165, which was the top limit of the healthy BMI -- my activity level and change in healthy diet caused me to actually settle in at a set point around 150-155 over the past six months.
A goal is just that -- something you have in your mind - your body will lead you where it feels comfortable and can maintain.
10 years ago, I got down to 135-140, but could not maintain it due to a change of job and lifestyle. I didn't have the time or energy to maintain the activity level that requires, or the motivation to stay off the wine & alcohol. It's all about choices, time and priorities in life. If you don't maintain the effort to it took to get to a certain weight on the scale, it will creep back up, and up , and up.0 -
139... bit of a weird number but I'm in the UK and in stones and pounds it would be 9st 13lb.Just to see that 9st number would be amazing :-)0
