I don;t know if my pain is sciatica or the tight muscle described above, but going to the chiropractor and using this exact stretch (as above) always helps relieve the shotting pains I sometimes feel down my left hand side!

Hey everyone, well - my newest addition to my makeup drawer is MAC cremeblend blush in Tea Petal - I saw it on e~Bay and decided to get on the spur of the moment - It only cost £7 - so an absolute bargain. Its quite a dark colour so I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to get it fully price, but its actually nice to…

@Nolachick : The Oil Clensing Method is going well - I am mainly doing it every day - but the days when I dont have time I revert back to normal facewash. My skin is definately less oily and more smooth / less bumpy - I can't tell if its clearin gup the spodgey texture of my skin yet - but I have done away with moisturiser…

Oooo hope you got your order Nolachick! I have been experimenting with the Oil Cleansing Method at the moment - sounds a bit mad - but basically using Castor Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) to cleanse in the evening beofre bed. And I must say that I have not need to use moisturiser and its gotten rid of the oiliness…

Oh no - I am so lucky with my skin (its extremely hardy, lol) - I have heard about the MAC Mineralise collection (blush / powder) causing breakouts - I spoke to a MAC consultant about this last time I was in there and she didn't try and deny it - some people do react badly to the Mineralise products - although I have never…

Try Urban Decay 24/7 Liners on your waterline - they are ultra soft (I hate hard scratchy liners) and last all day (or night) and come in loads of colours - in the UK they cost about £9, but last forever
-
Got my two new brushes today - they are great :) - not the type that you get in an average kit and sooooo soft ! I love them  and have already allocated space in my brush roll (home-made - how sad, lol!) . If you are considering in investing in a permenant brush kit I would suggest you try Sigma as a good quality…

lol - I have only just thought of finding a make up thread here! Being in the UK we don't have Sephora (which sucks) - but I am soon moving to Geneva and I know they have Sephora over there (or at least in France), so looking forward to having a browse through there stuff. Last time I went in one (I think in Aix en…

This thread is me! A make up addict that is - I love, love, love  finding new (to me anyways) make up / tools, lol! At the moment I am waiting on the Sigma F50 and F82 - I have the MAC 227 alredy so I know I am going to love the F50 (which I'm going to be using more as a face/highlight brush than for eyes - hence the…

Don't beat yourself up about the things you can't change now - get back on the horse and try again, if you dont do this now another week might slide past and you'll feel worse about all that extra lost time (you're right it is a constant battle - but you're not alone on that one) ! Hope your leg is feeling better soon -…

Great self control - keep strong and stick to your goals :)

ahaha, I am going against the grain to be sure, but I know that when I'm dehydrated I weigh way, way less then my normal weight . Lol, if I have a couple of glasses of wine of an evening :drinker: then next day I will be like a kilo lighter - but I'm not sure I could recommend this, as if it doent work out it'll be my…

Hey babyfishy, I think what we need is to see your diary, then we can make fair comment on your specific diary. The reason JanerZzz is asking about eating back your exercise calories is because sometimes your body misunderstands whats going on when you restrict your intake and it holds onto all the calories/fat it can…
-
 I would suggest that you open up your diary so that people can give you advice on what might be going wrong. There are a tonne of reasons you have gained/stayed the same - but peeps need to know what they're dealing with before commenting

Hello :) and welcome to MFP Mar00nDawta. Hopefully you'll find that logging everything into MFP will help you out - keeping posting questions in the chat room if you have any, theres always someone on hand to help (normally in all time zones, lol) :flowerforyou:
-
I hear you on this one - I tend to go with a reasonable estimate - either by finding one online then inputting it into MFP - or using the average of the ones already on MFP. This is obviously not exact - but short of asking for a direct breakdown of the exact recipe per batch of bread etc - its probably a good guess. If…

The diuretic effect of caffeine will start to impact your bladder after about 6-8 cups of normal tea / coffee - those drinks which have higher caffeine content will have a greater/quicker effect. If you're having this much coffe / tea then you might want to increase your water intake to ensure that you are not being…
-
hmmm, maybe check your last logged weights - if one has been input in error it may not show this one as such a big loss? Check 'edit previous entries' for your previously 'check-in's'...

Personally I can't count the amount of times I thought to myself 'that's it the next man who shows me affection - I'm gonna MAKE him 'the one'...' Then I would meet said man, and decide that they a) don't interest me / make me giggle (intellegance is high on my agenda), b) had no aspirations (2nd in the list) and c)…

Hey - I can definately see a differnce in your face (even if the angle isnt best), and these is loose material around your midrife that there isnt in the top picture - all good I think  Take a proper picture now (even if you hide it from everyone and take it in a mirror) and then when you have lost your next 10 lbs…

I get terrible burning feet (on the balls of my feet) sometimes when I'm dancing - but I do wear 2.5 inch heels for dance, so thats probably why I get it - I found it was worse before (and this sounds gross) I build up a reasonable amount of thick skin on the ball of my feet (below my big toe). If I have a couple of weeks…

Thanks for that - will be printing and trying this one when i manage to remember to get the ingredients together.

Hey - recipe sounds great - but for us UK folks could you please explain what grits are so that I can try and find a similar product here? Thanks

lol, I have just lost my first 10 lb (well 12 in total now) - and you know what? I didnt even realise they had reduced my allowance. I just went and checked and mine has reduced by 70 cals a day! Clever MFP!

Hi, I checked out your diary and it looks to me like you have a alot of quick add calories, with no description of what they are etc. If you are cooking a meal i.e. spag bol, curry, whatever, I would suggest you diary every componant that you add in. Also over the weekend there has been no logs made at all - I know that…
