ENTP - before lockdown it was 95% Lifting and 5% Jogging/Running but now its 100% running and I've learnt to love it. Prefer to run alone; its my me time. I lift alone too - i know I'll hurt myself pushing too hard if I'm with someone else.

5ft 8in and I eat around 1800 a day to lose 1lb a week. Currently 245lbs (was 272). I lift heavy 3 times a week and I'm usually busy the other 4 so I rarely just eat 1800 :)

Mines anything between 5 and 10lbs if I've craved salt leading up to it. And that's ovulation and the actual week. It drops of about 2 days after I finish. I've actually just set my weighing day (weigh in monthly) to inbetween the two weeks so I get a rough honest estimate rather than constantly thinking 'water weight'.

I love the gym! I only need one slice of bread (still love me some thick white loaf but I'm more than happy with wholemeal medium now - plus the calorie save is lovely!)

I started strong lifts 5x5 today after pottering in the gym for a few months and I like it! Work out A Squat 5x5 at 20kg / 44lbs (Gonna jump this up because it was too easy - been squating 20kg 3x12 prior) Bench press 5x5 50kg / 110lbs Barbell Row 5x5 40kg / 88lbs Gonna stick to there increases from here and see how itβ¦

Hey! I usually have a step counter and sorta use that as a guide :) I know it's gonna be more (backstage work is telling some show nights lol) but it stops me over estimating the burn.

How easy it is to eat poorly and strange serving size portions on packets.

I weight monthly and I measure monthly- I'll occasionally pop and the scales mind month but what I've done is set a date (13th every month) and I stick to that. But having the scales at someone else's house is also a good idea!

Oh man I was given this and my Dr said just don't the one before if you know you're going to a bad meal or drinking - TRY 2 DAYS! Not one tablet! They're super things and if you can get into Rhythm with them I bet they're great!

Always. But for like 2days of out of 3 weeks of a month - if that makes sense π ovulation - 2 days of starving then the week before I'm due and then again the day before and the day I start! I found I was craving chocolate a lot and I read somewhere that it means I'm actually craving magnesium- who'd have guessed? Haha! Soβ¦

No! No giving up! π you've got this! You're taking the right steps but maybe your cut is too great or maybe your meds are causing you to retain water/gain weight?

What everyone else has said- your weight all is all over the place if you track it religiously. My method is ignore the highs and concentrate on the new lows! As long as my lows get lower every few weeks I'm happy. But also, maybe get a measuring tape and start tracking inches rather than pounds - less fluctuation I'veβ¦

Gosh you're all good snackers aren't you! I'm awful! If I have calories left over I'm all over those chocolate biscuits or those Little Bar Dairy milk things π Well done you guys with you chick peas and cereal bars!

I think the rub here is that eating when your body wants to eat is great but most of the time our heads get involved and tell us to eat all the things we shouldn't. So if we ate when our body wanted to and stuck to healthier more nutrious food this might work out well π

So losing fat from your thighs directly isn't possible - like previous posters have said, no such thing as a spot reduce from a fat POV. However, if your aim is to make them appear smaller you could exercise those muscles and they'll become leaner. Have a Google for inner thigh exercises - lots of them about.
