  • Try LoseIt!. Took me one day to get used to it, and after a week I paid for a LIFETIME premium membership (which is STILL less than just one year of MFP premium).
  • +1 more.
  • I've been using this app for almost a decade. Now you're going to take away the most useful feature in order strong-arm people into paying a subscription? NO THANKS. Try innovating. This is pure GREED, plain and simple.
  • Agree. This is just greed. I've been using this app for almost 10 YEARS. You want people to pay? Innovate. It's disgusting.
  • It would seem to me that anyone that has a problem with you weighing your food has a problem with your success, and not the scale. Ultimately it’s nobody’s business but yours.
  • I am able to log back in but the app no longer shows my progress. It's totally wiped like I'm starting over. The website still has all my info but I can't get it back down to the app atm. :(
  • Same. Glad it's not just me. Will have to wait it out I guess. Been down for a few hours at least.
  • It REALLY is calories in/calories out. BUT!!!!! I can have 1 pop tart or a BUCKET of salad with a couple oz of grilled chicken (no really… a gallon bucket FULL to the top). Nutrition is another animal.

  • I'm usually up by about 7:30. Never eat breakfast. I don't feel hungry until about 12-1pm. If I DO eat breakfast I feel like I'm starving by 10am. Lunch usually kills 350-500 calories. Kashi bar in the afternoon and plenty of room (and calories) for dinner. I LIKE dinner. :) Oh almost forgot. Only water... always. About a…
  • 1 cup = 175 grams = 200 calories Close enough for "guestimating" IMHO if that's where you're at.
  • At appears to access the Wolfram Alpha Statistical Database for such queries. http://www.wolframalpha.com
  • I just asked it... "How many calories are there in 1 large egg?" It replied 83 It may depend on exactly how you ask. If it says, "Would you like me to search the web…" just cancel right there, you're getting a website and NOT the Wolfram Alpha statistical database.
  • Ask her, "Do you think I'm fat?" lol
  • I love it! Because there are the occasional days I go over so I feel like I'm pre-paying. Tomorrow will be one of those days. :)
  • I'm discovering that losing weight for me has to be a lifestyle change so I don't limit what I can and can't have. It's all about portion control and eating slowly enough to get the maximum enjoyment out of the portion I have. If I limit what I'm "allowed" to have as soon as the diet ends all the weight comes right back so…
